ABOUT OUR DOGS - EUROPEAN DOBERMANS - KENNEL CANIS MAXIMUS
Great dog, TY
Everything is going good. Took Baron to vet everything checked out.
Jake! Stunning! Just had some training time at Home Depot.
We are very happy with him. He is a handful. But loved so very much.
Just had to share..hope all is well. Spring is coming soon.
we're enjoying them so much.
Thank you for our beautiful gentle Baron who turned 4 today!
I was walking him yesterday and as usual, people stop in cars to tell me how beautiful he is....this time they said " you can tell he comes from champions" :)
The owner of the vet clinic i used filled in yesterday for the normal vet. She is the one that did the ears of my parents dobermans. She typed a letter for you. She was very impressed with your puppy and said she had only seen one in the last several years which was mine, and yours is one of the best she has ever seen. Thank you again for the puppy, we named her "Harley". Devilish and confident was right.
I tell you what, you know you are a damn good breeder when that vet started in the 80's and was impressed.
It's been a while since I sent any updates sorry about that!! Kaiser is doing well! He's finally starting to calm down a bit and not have all that puppy energy. Every where we take him people love him and comment on how good his demeanor is and how friendly he is. He's still very silly and makes us laugh daily. We recently moved to a new house with a larger yard and were able to fence it in and he has a blast in the yard running around. He especially loves running around in the snow and we always have trouble getting him inside when it does. In the summer months he goes wild for the hose and swimming when we take him to lakes.
Although he is very friendly we are glad he does show a little bit of protecting of the house. We had someone doing our patio and they came into the basement while we weren't home to get some supplies and Kaiser heard him and went down. He did not attack or move towards him but blocked the man from going anywhere past the staircase and just stared him down which was enough for the guy to run out of the basement. I'm thankful for this because he knew no one should be inside if we weren't there but didn't attack and instead just very intimidating which meant we didn't have any problems a bite or attack would cause. Not sure how many other dogs would do that (his chihuahua sister definitely wouldn't have done the same).
We weren't able to get both ears standing however. We got the right standing most of the time but the left is permanently floppy.
All in all everything is good and he's definitely made the past 2 years an interesting time.
Thanks for checking in! Hope all is well with your family and all the pups!
We are in love!
Otis 6 months old this Saturday. 58.5lbs. Best dog ever! Thanks again. I want another one in a couple of years.
Some recent photos of Aria. Hope all is well with you. she is such an awesome Doberman
Here are some pictures of the puppy I got from you in December he is in the front left and the two my friend got from you over the summer
The Boys! Jake is becoming a protector of his property, working on not so much barking. Runs the fence line at any sound.
This is what Cairo looks like now absolutely beautiful dog..Thank you..
He's doing great. He's super happy, he has to always be touching us or else he's upset. He slept with us last night.
He's a cuddler!
Otis Redding. 5 months old. 51 pounds. Best dog ever!
Hope you are well! Attached are some new pictures of our girl Hana. She's doing very well, still so full of puppy energy!
Jake 4 months & Baron almost 4. Irina, We can't thank you enough for these 2! Baron is my I have a pet sitting business, Baron goes with me pre dawn and late night visit. Knowing he's in the van and I only have to hit the remote to let him out to protect. We have bobcats, coyotes panthers and no street lighting at all. No I would never let him chase any of these. Baron protects by body blocking me.
I walk with some ladies in the morning and their have been a couple of times he's gone from the watch command to guard, never leaving or pulling on the lead. He stands and blocks us with his body.
Jake is so full of confidence, he doesn't walk he struts! He is always on duty.
Everyone is amazed how well behaved they are. Thank you again!
I have one of your dogs already!!! And I love my dog! I bought him in august ! Red ... named him bishop !! Best dog ever! I need/want a black one. The dog I have is
alpha!! My house is his and we a have understanding! Let him be!! I don't restrict him any and the backyard is his! I love my dog . Your an excellent breeder.
He was easy to train. Never thought I could train a dog. It's was easy with him. I just showed him love and attention! And I let him be!
he does stuff sometime I don't approve of.... I don't yell or get mad.... I just let him be and say "bad dog" and understands! Very intelligent dog!
7 months old and he lets his presents be known without even being aggressive!
45 pounds and growing ! What a great dog! We really love him. Thank you.
Hey, we got your Christmas card.
Thank you. It was nice.
Vader is doing well, and full of energy.
Spasibo za klassnovo psa.
Of course it's Ryker
Jake's first trip to Boca Grande.
Jake just got his rabies shot. He's 32.5 pounds. He has so many mannerisms of Baron's it funny. Baron never stays on the floor at the vets. He has to sit on the bench next to me Jake does the same lol.
They are best buds. Jake has taught Baron how to dig holes while laying down so I don't see it happening.
Neighbor is a retired Dog show judge, loves my dogs. Yep, my breeder knows her stuff. We love these guys so much. Thank you again for our babies.
Raina and lil Ms Willis!
39 pounds and counting. We really love this dog. Thanks again. Neil
Happy New Year!
He wasn't very thrilled about the hat but it worth it for the photo! Thank you so much Irina for this lovely dobie! He is everything I had hoped for and more! Hope you have a happy new year!
Thanks for the Christmas Card. Attached are a few pictures of the puppy I purchased from you. In three days he will be 6 months and currently weighs 51 pounds. He is doing great and is really smart and likes going on 1-2 mile runs off leash.
Irina, Here is our photo of Canis Maximus Dobby. He is sitting in a Ural 750 Russian sidecar motorcycle rig. We love him and wish you a very Happy New Year!
Mary & Ken
Happy NY from Benzi!
Happy new year!!
Hope you had a Merry Christmas.
Aria and our family had a great Christmas........ such a great Doberman. Aria made Christmas one of the best we have ever had. Happy New Year to you and your family.
Aria has turned my life around for me and my kids. Life has been pretty dark with a divorce and kids and myself were very sad. When Aria entered our life, we instantly felt happiness and joy in life. Thank you for giving life back to us.
God bless you and the parents of Aria.
Halo says Thank you for the Christmas card! :)
Good morning Irina,
Just wanted to update you on Marco. We named him Ryker and we just LOVE him. He is crazy smart and very eager to learn. He already knows sit, down, stay and waits to be invited to come in the door. He is also now potty trained..... Yay!!!! We are still training his ears but they are coming along. Hope
you and your family had a wonderful Christmas. Thank you for the Christmas card!! Here is s pic of Ryker from this morning!!
I have 2 five year old Dobermans from Irina. They are exquisite. Can't imagine getting a Doberman from anyone else
Her first vet appointment went well. House training has been a challenge but sheТs learning. She goes away for training in 2 weeks. Dog is an absolute sweetheart.
Thirty one pounds and going strong!
She is so sweet and so loyal.......we all love her so much. Thank you for such a beautiful and wonder Doberman.
Thank you so much for my boys!
Waiting for mom to come home.
Riley Super Surf Dog!
Enjoy these from last year. He's twice the size in the chest now. His new wet suit just arrived.
She is so happy here! Also very willing to learn and loves to please. She loves to jump up on the baby and knock her over LOL we are working on that she just has so much energy it's fun
She's a jumper. Clears my 5ft fence everyday no problem lol I have never had a doberman do that before or even want to do that haha her Bloodlines are coming out she is a working dog I'm still work she is so smart Roman will send me the video of the training you will be amazed I love this girl thank you so much
Riley is wonderful! He's the picture of health, strong, happy, intelligent, playful and loving. We adore him
Best dog ever!!!! Aria is so sweet and stops people in their tracks, because of her stunning beauty and sweetness. San Diego loves your Doberman.
Almost 60 lbs now...but he doesnt look fat at all.
Its all muscle...his back legs are insane. He is very tall. He can stand and reach my shoulders.
Getting to be such a grown up looking boy now. Perfect in every way.
Good afternoon. Thank you again for everything. We have named him "Hank" and he is doing awesome! We started obedience classes with him and he is showing great signs of wanting to work. We will keep in touch with you along the way. Have a great holiday and thanks again.
Casey and Amanda
Thanks, he perfect.
He is very playful and loving but not overly energetic, probably because we run him many times a day. He loves chasing our 4wheeler
and is very good with my children. He listens well and does well around other people and other dogs. He plays with my sister in laws' lab and pug almost daily and has never shown any aggression. Here is a pic of the whole family this past weekend so you can see how big he is getting (about 50 lbs now), and one with him playing with the lab!
Just wanted to say we couldn't be happier with Silas (purple). Thanks again for everything!
Otis is very well adjusted and love chasing his sister. Thanks again
He's a big boy. Trained quite well. He's a guard dog, especially towards men around my wife, so we are careful with him, but he's very loving and a real joy to have. And a touch spoiled!
Thank you so much for providing us with the best dog we could have asked for! This is Gustav Von Bolen (Gus). Green collar born from your C litter in 2012. He is wonderful with our small children (who came after him) and is extremely protective of us. He loves his big brother, a 13 lb min pin, and they both seem to have their sizes mixed up.... We have already decided that when the time comes, our next pup will come from you! Thanks again!
Thank you for any information on her. We love her dearly. She is beautiful and so smart. I want people to know where she came from.
He got his final shots today he was 51 pounds at 4 months and ears seem to be standing pretty well. He's a good dog.
He is doing well. Getting bigger every day.
He is absolutely beautiful and such a joy to have here at the house. You should be proud of the job you guys do with your dogs.
Getting bigger every day :) I can't believe he was that little nugget just 2 months ago
Hey there this is Gerardo I bought a female puppy from you a couple months ago. She is 4.5 months and we named her supra this is just a screen
shot from a video just wanted to show you how she is turning up thank you again we are very happy with her she is really smart and very playful!!
Getting big! He weighs 39 lbs now.
He did great today!!!! They said his bite and drive were both pretty amazing for his first time.
Athena with her brother and sister.
Ok so, went to the vet she is 100% healthy her heart sounds great:))
Thank you again so much. She's everything I wanted and more:)) I will most definitely be getting my next dobie from u!
She's so beautiful.all your dogs are! I love this puppy! She is so smart and really trusts me:)
"Royal" growing in a wonderful boy. He is happy, very healthy, playful, and lovable in that Doberman velcro way! Tasha and Royal get along wonderfully. Tasha (now 5) is playing with him like she is a puppy again. Royal just finished three weeks of training at Old Towne School for Dogs and his trainer said he has incredible potential. Here is a picture of him practicing sit-stay.
Rob and Farah
I came across your site of absolutly beautiful Dobermans.. I have had owned Dobermans until 1999 when I had to put my last great dog down. He had cancer of the mouth and couldn't eat. He was the best dog I ever had and I think of him every day. I miss my companion very much. I would love to have another Doberman but at 74 it would be a little difficult to give such a wonderful animal the exercise and great care. Many a night I imagine my Dobie Saint laying at my side while I rested for the day on my couch. A better dog no man could ask for. He was smart, loyal so much fun and loving. I will always miss my friend. Seeing your site is wonderful. It brings back a flood of beautiful memories. I will check in again when I need to remember my pal.
I hope you don't mind this email.
Athena is getting bigger and smarter everyday!
Angie and Gary
So it has been about 3 weeks since I picked up the puppies from you and my family and I love them! They just got their second vet visit and all is well. I'll attach a picture. By the way, we ended up naming the male Zeus and the female Bambi.
Rocky and Kash.
They are both doing great!!!
Irina, Just letting you know we arrived home very happily with our boy. He was a great traveler!
Getting bigger everyday..everyone loves her
Overall he is doing great!
She arrived at 8 but didn't receive her until 845pm she was a mess. She was so happy to see us almost like she has already knew me and my wife, she's having a blast in her new home. She already sits on command she is very smart that kind you i couldn't be happier. Thank you!
Lucifer at 7 mo and Milagro at 7 mo!
I think he likes his dinosaur:)
Hope all is well with you. Daphne is doing great, growing and becoming quite the beautiful girl. She is about 7 months old now and weighs about 54 pounds. She is happiest when she is in front of Stanley when hiking or walking, or running after a rabbit on the dirt road we go down near our house. She has quite a swagger in her step and is full of herself. I'm sure she will run the show pretty soon.
Here is a picture of how she travels in the car when headed up the mountain to go hiking. She has to have her front legs on the rolled up rear seats and have her foot on Larry's shoulder. She rides just about the entire way, which is about an hour, like that. She makes us laugh everyday and Stanley really enjoys having a playmate again. The bird says, "She's a good girl", all the time, trying to convince us of that, I guess. Thanks again for the cutie that is growing into a fine young lady.
Her ears are up.. And we've got a dust devil on my hands lol.
Here are the ribbons I found, some are missing I know he went Reserve Champion at 3 shows, his last show was at 7 months he was up against a Dogo Argentino that was 2 years old and really fit so he actually did very well considering he was still a pup going reserve, that dog was at every show we went to, hopefully now that
he's maturing he has the muscle and the definition to beat him the judges loved him even asked if we were going to show him AKC
All tuckered out. She went to pet store today to pick out more toys and bones. I carried her into the pool with absolutely no fuss. She is doing great at the
park running around. Learning manners and already walking at heel with almost no effort. She is very smart, couldn't be happier.
Just an update, coco is home safe, spent some time at the park and she's checked out the house. Laying here next to me chewing on a toy. My daughter came over and
brought the mini-longhaired dachshund over for half an hour, both took to each other right away. Coco is one beautiful dobie. Tickled to death, she is awesome, zero
problems so far.
Thought you might like an update. Vader is doing great. He loves to go on rides and run. He has all his shots and very healthy. We are bonding well. He has a great
temperament and everyone is always talks about how beautiful he is. But he is really teaching me patience...lol. Such a prankster
Thank you SO much for our beautiful boy! We named him Pharaoh! He is super smart and already starting his non verbal commands!
Our kids think he is wonderful and he is great with them, always wanting to play and be pet.
The Corley Family
Hope you enjoy these. Hachiko Life is good.
Just picked her up! She's great thank you so much.
And she is a very happy girl in the house.
I hope you are well and survived the terrible weather last month. Rosie is one year old and has unlimited energy.. She loves to run and play ball outside. She is still learning how to behave but has come a long way the past 6 months. She is very good with other dogs and goes to day care during the week to play with about 40 other dogs.
She is at normal size and weight for her age and does not appear have any unusual medical problems. My Vet is pleased with how she is growing. I have attached a recent photo of Rosie and will send more later.
Best Regards, George
they just love each other now
Hi! I just wanted to send you another Photo of "Zoe"... shes now 35lbs and her ears are doing great... and shes an amazing, smart, happy and loving girl!!! We get
compliments about her beauty all the time...she's gorgeous!!
Hi where doing great just wanted to check in w ya hope ur having a great summer!
I'm Krista. My husband Donnie and I purchased a male dobie "Rhomus" from you 3 1/2 years ago. He is absolutely AWESOME!! We love, love, love, him so much!.. We've been thinking about getting another companion dog. Our current boy is very social and gets along well with other dogs.
Irina, I wanted to let you see....CM Kadiance Can Can. She's 3... today.
Thanks again for meeting us yesterday. We love Dap!! Definitely made the right pick :)
He's great with my boys. His temperament fits right in with them. He's very calm in the house and they appreciate that.
This is in Tucson, believe it or not. You are right, she is a thick little girl.
Ears need more time but when at attention look great. Getting so big.
I have a new name, Hachiko, which I eagerly responds to. I really like it here. I have completed and graduated from puppy training, and I am finally house broken. That was hard. I had to have my dog food changed twice. Now I am on Science Diet, which I tolerate well, and I take a daily Probiotic to support my digestion. I also look forward to having my teeth brushed each morning. I am smaller in size, but that is fine with me.
When Wendy goes shopping, I like looking in the shopping bags and getting another new toy. Oh, I think all the toys belong only to me. I have to have really tough toys, since I like to chew on them. I also like going on my daily walks, playing with my Dobie brother, and running up and down the stairs, jumping over the last 3 stairs and sliding across the floor. I do this several times. It is really fun. Tug-a-war and catch, are my favorite games. I still get a little car sick, but that is improving, and I am quite used to the groomer, but I do not like to have my nails trimmed.
I don't let Wendy out of my sight. I follow her every where in the house. I almost forgot, she lets me sit on her lap when we sit on the floor or in the recliner. Wendy says, I am very sweet and loving. We enjoy each day together, even when I get into things that I am not suppose to have. I will be celebrating my first birthday soon. Wendy says I can have a small birthday party with my other dog cousins. I can't wait!
Irina, Thank you for thinking and asking about me. Life is good. Love Hachiko
HiЕ.thought you would like to see how your УSantoФ looks as he turns one tomorrow. You were rightЕЕ..he is going to be huge! He is the most affectionate dog we have ever had and has a wonderful temperament. The two dogs get along well and I think he is happy here. Thank you again for letting us adopt him.
He was in the yard running around and now all set relaxed??
She is amazing. I'll send a funny picture of the spoiled little pooch! Jade taking a nap with Zoey!
He is doing wonderful. We started taking him to a training camp when he was around 5 months and he УgraduatedФ we also take him to a puppy daycare
whenever we are working which doubled as a source of socialization and he is doing so well. He is about 90 pounds right now. We have a picture of him and a video of him barking at some squirrels :)We get compliments left and right about how beautiful he is. Thank you so much for contacting we sharing our photos.
Hello, Irina and family!
So nice to hear from you!
Believe it, I am often on your website admiring your dogs. Mina is doing great. We are down to 2 dogs, Mina and our Weimaraner male Valor, who is 13 now. Can't believe that Mina is 5 years already. She is a self-assured female with a very sound temperament. We have never owned a dog that speaks "human" as well as she. Loving and loyal, guards like there is no tomorrow. Nothing slips by this girl and I feel safe with her here with me. She is so sweet with us and all business when she needs to be. This is what I wanted in a Doberman and you bred one fine specimen! Her health has been good, but she does have allergies. I have switched to grain free, which eliminated a lot of it and all of the gassiness, but she is also seeing a vet that performs acupuncture on her and I have her on Chinese herbs for her skin to great success.
We have attached some pictures of her and hope to stay in contact with you. Who knows, we might see each other again one day for another Doberman. We hope all is well with you, your family and your dogs.
Henry and Raffaela
Sarah, aka Daphne, is doing very well. She is growing like a weed, the cat is adjusting but not accepting yet, the bird enjoys trying to peck her but she is too quick, Stanley is liking her more and more everyday, although she is 100% pest and is after him constantly (he's the big brother), she graduated Kindergarten class and is doing well in Manners 101. She is food motivated, so she is always trying to perform in order to get another treat. () She still goes to work with me everyday, so she knows everyone there and is excited to see all of them every time she walks through the door.
Once she is completely potty trained, we will schedule a road trip for a few day to a cooler location, but that will wait until she is trustworthy. :)
She thinks she is a sled dog, have tried 4 different harnesses and finally settled on a Gentle Leader and will graduate into my previous Dobe's Halti, once she grows a bit more. She was 40# when she turned 5 months last Friday, do you suppose she will be about 75 pounds at her adult weight? I guess it is impossible to predict, just never know how she will grow, but she seems like she will be a good size girl.
Here are some pics, it was hard keeping it to 5.
Have a good night,
Hello, She is very much alive! She has killed three birds in our yard this week. She's pretty healthy I would say. She tries to bite my tires when I back out of the driveway and chased two of the neighbors unleashed dogs out of our yard today. ??
So good to hear from you Irina. Loki is amazing. He is truly the sweetest dog ever and loves every dog and person he meets. He is incredible with my kids and rarely leaves my side.
His favorite thing to do is to fetch and we spend a lot of time every day chasing balls.
I would love to get together so that you can see what an amazing dog you bred and would be happy to bring him out to you.
Adler (5yo) is doing great! He keeps us all very busy and he couldn't be any better with our 3 year old son now. He is a saint as Colby likes to jump all over him at times and Adler just endures it. He looks really great with a super shiny coat! Thanks so much for checking in.
Pictures from this morning....
Hey there - so nice of you to drop a line.
She (Bailey, 5yo) is doing well. Very strong and like a shadow wherever we go. Very spoiled as well.
I attached two pictures of her....one with my other 9 year old Dobe.
Just wanted to let you know that Panzer passed away this morning. He was diagnosed with DCM in November and was doing really well on his meds and had just seen the cardiologist for the 2nd time about 2 weeks ago. We believe he had an arrhythmia because he was doing great last night and early this morning but then I found he had passed away after we got up this morning.
Panzer was my best friend, my velcro dog, and will be painfully missed by both my husband and myself. He was more loyal than any person I have ever met and has taken part of my heart with him. No other dog will ever replace Panzer....he was one of a kind and I am very happy he was part of my life even though it was only for 6 short years. I have attached a couple of the last pictures that I took of him last week.
Hi...just wanted to send you a pic of Zoe...her ears are standing pretty well but still need work....pretty good tho :) Thanks for everything...we love her!!
Thought you would like to see #2. Our Dante such a nice personality. Keep well. Paul
Irina - Here are 2 of your beautiful babies (in Franklin, TN)! Morgan and Madigan.
Gotta say.......Jade is awesome!!.....a bit crazy! She seems to really enjoy her new home, and we love her also. Thanks again!
This was about a week ago. Ears taped back up now. Off tomorrow, then back on. She really is an amazing little (soon to be big) pup!
Leah is a delight and absolutely adored.
She didn't even mess up her crate on the flight here, although we're currently working on not peeing in the kitchen. She doesn't startle just as you mentioned, and has been very tolerant of neighbors and their kids petting her (I give them all chicken to reward her with). She has already learned "sit," which very much impressed the vet's office at her checkup today, and walks pretty well on her leash. She took to the yard like a fish to water. The vet said she's in good health!
() Obviously her leather collar I'm the first photo is much too big still so I got her the small blue one :)
Things are excellent! He is perfect and learning very quickly. He just had his ears taped a few days ago at the vet and was 23.5 lbs at 12 weeks. He is gorgeous and people literally pull over while we are on walks just to meet him. Dobermans are so rare these days. We are doing lots of socialization and go to the park 3 times a day and also walk through the city a lot. I also go to Easton, MD every weekend to my parents property so he can run all day without a leash for a couple of days.
He is very affectionate and also part shark haha. ()
The included picture is from 2 weeks ago before his ears were posted with tape. And another of him passed out after a walk today.
He goes with me everywhere, even to work and it's great to have him with me.
@10 weeks with his big brother.
From today @18 weeks.
He is such a ham!
Hope all is well with you
We all made it home safe! He was SO amazing, and such a good boy on the airplane!
It was great to meet you, thanks for everything! I'll keep you posted
Dante is doing wonderful. He checked out beautiful at the vet. He has a phenomenal disposition and personality. We love him.
Thank you !
Hope this message finds you well.
Zeus had his final rounds of shots today, and weighed in at 38.5 pounds. His leg looks completely normal; thank you for the advice! We have switched vets, and found one that actually seems to know what she's doing (smile). She suggested the same diet as you, when we had mentioned our earlier concerns (reference his leg).
He is a great dog! At four Months, he will come, sit, stay, watch me on command, and fetch a frisbee/ball all day long if we keep throwing. We are still working on the peeing in the house, and mouthing. Though the both are continually getting better.
Have received A LOT of compliments already on his looks!
Thank you again for such a wonder puppy! We will send some pictures in the near futureЕ
Best regards,Dan and Amy
Irina, I am sorry I have taken so long to email you. We both love the puppy and he is doing fine. He is eating very well and has gained some weight. We took him to the vet last week and got him his second set of shots. We take him out in the yard to play and he loves it. Hope everything is well with you. Sandra
A boy and his dog.
Happy Mother s Day Ms Irina !
Almost impossible to get a still picture! She was running with our big male this morning. Very curious and confident. Doesn't much like the crate, didn't get much sleep last night, but that will get better.
Thought you'd like to see Major with our 6 month old! Dobies are the best with kids!!
She is doing wonderful!!! Thank you for my little sweetheart. She was scared of my old English mastiff when she first saw him. Now she loves him.
Outer banks NCis
Update photos of milo
He's so amazing and handsome. Thank you so much for this amazing opportunity with this special soul. We are at our first doctor appointment right now. He's very sleepy but he loves his mommy and his stuffed lamby toy.
Baron, Beach & ball!
just wanna say thanks once again for the dobermans. We really enjoy them. My wife has learned to love dogs. We are always told that we purchased them from a great breeder, Thanks a mill.
Zeus and zena remember this two
We made it safe!! He is so energetic and confident!! He already handles the stairs to front and back of house.
Just got back from the vet, all is well. Lots of compliments from the her (vet), who is on her 5th doberman.
He has been great! Only one accident in the house so far, and is sleeping just over 3 hours a stretch at night in his crate.
Thank you again for such an awesome puppy!
Dan and Amy
It's been awhile since I've sent you an update, but Percy is still doing great!
I've attached a current pic, he's such a handsome boy!
Happy Easter from Nitro.
We love him. Gina
Ms. Barrett, The puppy arrived here close to 9:30 A.M.. She was very afraid, so I had to get in the van to get her out of the van. She has been checked over by my vet, and she is scheduled Thursday morning to be spayed, have her d-claws removed, micro chipped, all at the same time. I will be taking her to the same person who bathes my doberman, so she can get to know her. I have also taken her to Pet Smart to get her a smaller collar and harness. I had several errands to make, so she has been with me all morning and afternoon. I also have her scheduled for her beginning train session this Sunday. Oh, she finally jumped into the car, but I have to lift her out of the car. My doberman, Kajawii, was curious at first, but they have settled down. She has been following him when we go out to use the bathroom. She has been following me around, and she finally gave me a kiss. Everyone has said how pretty she is. I will keep in contact with you, so you will know how she is progressing. . Thank you Very Much, Wendy
He loves my daughters.
I have wanted to give you an update on Rosie for some time. I had photos taken by my wife in December that were lost when she tried to transfer the photo file to her new IPhone.
Rather than wait for photos, I have summarized what Rosie has been doing the past 4 months. She has unlimited energy which has kept me very busy. I lost over 25 Lbs. through the end of Feb. She was spayed the beginning of Feb and had chip inserted at the same time.
At the first encounter with snow she did not like the white stuff but when she realized that she could play in the snow she had a great time and I had a hard time getting her to come inside. I did a six week puppy training course to help her to learn the basic sit, down, come, stayЕ.etc. skills. I am also taking the to the local day care to give her an opportunity to play with other dogs and use some of her energy. All the visits to the Vet have been good and she now weighs about 45 Lbs.
Rosie has a very friendly personality and likes to make a game out of whatever we are doing. She is very alert and wants to check out everything nickname: Nosey Rosie J
Thank you for forwarding the AKC form, and thank your husband/family for bringing Rosie to me.
I hope you were not affected by the heavy snow this winter. We had a relatively mild winter.
All the best,
Koa is a delight... hyper! But a very good dog love her to pieces :)
Play time? Or nap time?
I'm glad you wrote because I've been meaning to let you know how he is doing.
We call him "Apollo" and our female is crazy about him. They play all day and now sleep together in our bedroom (on the floor......they are too big for the bed, although they try). He weighs 67 lbs. He checked out well at the vet .. He is so sweet! We couldn't be happier to have him in our family. Thank you!
I will send a picture of him when I can get him to be still :)
Thank you for checking on him,
Some pictures of Aru.
Hope you are well. Happy Chinese New Year and Good health. Here is my new home, Louie, Morize, my son and me
It was nice to finally meet you this weekend. I took Bo'az to my vet this morning. All went very well and he was impressed with the puppy in general. He has great size and flexibility. His hips were perfect. His ears are standing up on their own now. He told me there was no need to wrap them again.
The ride home was very quiet. He never cried at all. He is getting along great with my Akita. He is very smart. He is starting to go to the door and cry when he needs to go potty. I have been working on this hard the last two days. He is going up and down the stairs now. ( after sliding down them the first time :). He now sits every time. Will lay down on command most of the time. He hates his crate so far.
But that will take time. He loves my daughters. I will send you some pictures shortly. Thanks again for a magnificent puppy.
Thank you for the Holiday wishes. Been meaning to send you a message and send you a picture of Vegas. He is a beautiful dog and what a wonderful dog he has turned out to be.
Just thought you would like to know.
Nothing but the best to you and your family.
She has adjusted well. She has had only 1 accident in the house, loves playing ball in the yard. We got snow today and she had a blast. Following commands. She is wonderful!
Thanks again! Rebecca
Hi Irina, just have to say you nail it with the simple! Mark & I say this several times a day with our boy! Love him so much, he makes us laugh everyday, or shake our heads and wonder what is he thinking. Jade also looks at him like really!
Took some snow pics this morning! These are both of your babies! Madigan's (S-litter) ears were actually standing on their own from mid-June through mid-December (I was so happy we had gotten them standing beautifully before she was even 6 months old)...however, 6 months later they started drooping so she's back in ear posts again.
The big guy (Morgan) is 5 years old.
Niko is doing great.
We moved from TN to NC last fall. I live about 10 miles north of Charlotte now. I found a new veterinarian that has a lot of experience with Dobermans. The vet's pet Doberman had passed away about a year ago so she loved seeing Niko. He weighed 94lbs at his yearly check-up last month, the vet said he probably needs to lose about 3-4 lbs, probably where he has been a little less active over the winter.
I took him hiking at the lake a lot over the summer, he really likes laying in the water and drinking, but not really a fan of swimming.
He still thinks he is a lap dog, especially when he gets sleepy at night.
But yeah, he's a pretty awesome dog. I'm so glad to have him.
I hope all is well with you.
Have a great day,
Thank you for the Christmas card that was very thoughtful of you and Happy Year to you and your family.
It has been a long time since we spoke, hope all is well. We wanted to also congratulate you on your new kennel and we love all the pictures on your website. (Still the most informative website for dobermans owners)
Attached are a few pictures of Valour, we renamed him "Maximillon" aka "Max" for short..He still has a very strong and independent spirit, as you advised when we purchase him.
He is a solid 100lbs and very protective of me. The funny part is people sly away from him because of his size and breed, but he is such a big baby and very playful. We have yet to find anything that he is scared of as he is truly a fearless Doberman.
We are so grateful to you and happy with our 4-legged family member.
Thanks, Zoe & Kenyon
Happy New Year to you as well.
Pearl is now approaching 3 years old in August, and she is as spry as ever. We keep her indoors mostly but have to keep her separate from the other animals because she is too strong for them and doesnТt realize her strength. She has turned out to be a beautiful animal. We always get compliments on her appearance, but she is definitely a handful for both us and the trainer. Our trainer tells us that she has never had a dog like her before. She is very intelligent! She is one of the smartest dogs I have ever owned. I will send you some pictures soon.
Take care. Best to you for the coming year!
Hi Irina just checking in hope everything is giong great for you and your family, things very hectic around here trying to finalize things for the house, waiting
for confirmation on his UKC there is a show close to our home this weekend I am going to try to enter him ,depends how well he holds together he's been very lanky lately if he holds together where he's at by Saturday will go ahead and enter him in confirmation, he is the most awesome pup I have ever had. his obedience is going great and his need to help me is astonishing. he brings me my things if left on a nightstand or a dresser if I asked him to pick up something he does his best to do it and bring it two me. trainer coming over tomorrow for in house session, they truly believe he has what it takes to be certified as a service dog that is my ultimate goal. here are a couple of pics for now hopefully have some from the show. as always thank you so much for a great best friend may God bless you and your family hope to hear from you soon sincerely Mike and Leanne
Very sweet, but he is a guard dog, especially towards males when my wife is home, while such a big baby with family. On Halloween, I sent a message to anyone casing the house, "don't even think about it"!!
Raina plays Christmas!
Happy and Blessed to you and yours Ms. Irina!
Merry Christmas from Benzi!
They are doing great.
Dima is settling in great - she is so sweet everyone who meets her just loves her - she loves her walks and the park is her favorite so far. She will chase the ball until she is ready to drop. Thank you for teaching her to play ball - we love it. I took her to palm beach - close to the 4 arts museum for our first walk. In the front of the museum they have 2 panther statues (same size as dima) flanking the doors - she was very excited to see them - she put her nose about 4" from one of the panthers - stared forever - waiting for it to run - when it did not run she barked and when that didn't work she started pushing against it with her chest. Took her awhile to realize they were not going to move - so she left.
All in all she is pretty funny. Loves her squeaky toys - and is by my side always.
Thank you so much for such a sweet and loving companion.
The pics show her sleeping beside my bed (she has done this since the very first day) - and this morning she stole a toy off the shelf of the store - I think she looks guilty.
Have a great day
Hi just wanted to let you know that everyone is already in love with Maximus how calm and gentle and a good boy he is. His the right perfect one for me and he listens to everything I say. His very happy playing with all his toys during the day and sleeping like a baby at night.
I just wanted to let you know how much fun I am having with "Zoe"!
She certainly came to life and is so smart, learning quickly. My male dogs have had quite a time teaching her proper doggie behavior--they all sleep well!!
Have a great holiday!!
I wanted to let you know that Percy is doing great! He is growing fast and doing great with training... at least when there aren't distractions! I've attached some pictures, I hope you like them!
After Saturday training.
We are just loving this precious girl. Thought I would share. She was just freshly bathed and enjoying the warmth of the fireplace...lol.
Thanks so much for her!!
Kronos is doing well with his obedience work and doing great at home. he's great also his trainer is very impressed with him and believes he is more than capable of receiving his service dog certification. She said rarely do they run across a doberman with the capability and temperament to be a service dog but feels that kronos has what it takes to get the job done also are there and organizations out here where he can show comformation or do I need to send him to your trainer to get him shown have herd confusing info on comf. some say yes there is organizations where he can show out here some say no would appreciate your help. here are a few pics of Kronos kicking back after training will send more later thanks for everything and God bless sincerely. Mike & Leanne
I wanted to let you know that Percy has been thoroughly checked out and everything is great! ().
I want to you know what an amazingly sweet little boy Percy is and he is doing great with training and housebreaking. He has been very outgoing on walks and at the local dog park just as you anticipated. I've attached some pictures of his first trip to the beach with his brother. =)
Oct 25, Rocky birthday.
Koa is so wonderful and very loved :)
She is an Angel! Slept all through the night with the girls. We just love her. Getting ready to head out on our long trip. Have plenty of food and water ready for her :)
Thanks so much!!!
Here is a recent picture of Gibson he's doing great! Love this guy more and more everyday! Thanks
Irina: Loki continues to amaze me. He is absolutely loving to every person and dog he meets but is starting to get some guarding instincts when people come to our house. As soon as I welcome into the home though he is ready to greet them as one of our own. He is amazing with my two boys and has an endless amount of energy which has him fetching balls as long as I will throw them many times each day. I canТt thank you enough for bringing such a great dog to us.
Thanks again and we hope to see you soon.
She's great! Very spoiled, but she's a good girl!! Here are some recent pictures.
11 month old Rocky is doing great!!!
I'm so glad to hear from you! I was thinking about sending you a quick update 2 days ago but became busy!
He is doing well. We are continuing to crate him but are giving him longer supervised freedom in the house after potty breaks. Everyone that has met him is intimidated at first but quickly realizes how much of a goofball he is and loves him! ()
His ears are beautiful and was worth the effort! His colouration is perfect and personality is sweet, kind and playful. He mostly lays on the ground after playing for a few minutes and falls asleep. Most people approach us with concern since he lays down everywhere (middle of the store, street, park, etc) and when getting close to us see's him pop up and ready to play again!
We took him to puppy class I and II and he was the star pupil in both! Once Dagger turns a year old, we will be completing the Good Citizen Canine course and test. Our trainer highly recommended that we take that and reiterated how amazing he is and will pass easily since Dags is eager to please. ()
Attached is a picture we took a few weeks ago. He is at 67 pounds now!
Take care, Christine
I love my boy more than words can express. He is a little demon and just a playful little man! He has so much energy and you have to be so committed to all his little destructions. LOL I love him. Here is a pic. Of him.
Oh, yeah, his ear only stands up when he is excited. I love him ear up or not. J
I know we havent talked much over the past 3 years since i was blessed with Lucifer. I know i sent you pics here and there. But it is with tears in my eyes and my greatest regret that we lost him last month. I would have told you sooner but i honestly cant bear to talk long about him. He was our familys rock and my first born son.
You () bred an amazing and most loving dog. I hate to call him a dog because he was so much more than that. He was our rock. I never thanked you for that. I wish you could have met him in his fullest of personality. I have tears in my eye typing this and i hate it. They are never, ever just a dog. they are family. and i understand why you guys do so much to make sure the breed is so beautiful. i cannot tell you how many times i have had traffic stopped or friends i have made or met based on just "him". it was amazing. he was beautiful. I will attach a couple pics.
The most wonderful three years of my life happenedd with him.
I just wanted to let you know. I am sorry if i failed you , taking one of your pups, but mostly because i wasnt able to save him.
() I am sorry i let you down, but i thank you for the best three years of my life. he shaped me. he was amazing.
Thank you Irina. You do amazing things with these beautiful pups.
I just have to tell you - we are so lucky to have our puppy. I am so amazed and surprised at how good she is. She is perfect. She listens. Wants to please and is loved beyond belief! She is also very social and inquisitive but I can tell will be a little boss! Thank you. We are so happy!
ItТs nice to hear from you! Hope all is well. Solic is doing great. He is a big boy weighing about 110lbs. HeТs our big love. Solic can be quite the handful at times but he is really such a good boy. IТve attached a picture of him. He isnТt very photogenic but I got one good one of him.
it's funny you reached out to us. Hope everything is well with you and your family. I was just going to drop you a line and I was trying to get some good pics to send you but Deimos wouldn't cooperate. He's great and he has grown up to be a very handsome dog. Very loving and loves to cuddle. He has a tremendous ball drive. He has a Kong toy that I throw when I cook outside (which is all the time) and he would chase that thing all night if I stayed out there. Last year we lost our older Dobi her name was Pyrha. Deimos used to lay his head on her and sleep on the couch. She was definitely the matriarch of our house. We all miss her a lot. My seven year old son, Chase, and Deimos seem to have developed the same personality. It's funny.
I still go on your site from time to time and of course look at your pups. I'm addicted to Dobermans I guess. I'm always looking for the new Zoosfery pups that might be coming too (hint, hint). All in all, Deimos has been a great addition to our family. I'll attach some pics but I'll also make it a point to take some new ones and get them out to you. Thanks for checking in on Deimos, that means a lot to me and reassures me that I picked a great breeder. Thanks Irina, love Chuck, Jacque, Chase and Deimos.
P.S. Doesn't Deimos have that dark, strong, Zoosfery look? I love it! Here's a little time line of pics.
She is doing well. I think it's safe to say she's pretty well spoiled. She's recently been helping me train for a 5k. She enjoys our runs and we walk several miles on our "off" days. She's able to do a good bit of off leash hiking as well. She loves the water. We tried paddle boarding for the first time this summer. We have a beach trip planned next month. There's a private pool at the house we are renting. I'm hoping to practice some dock diving while there.
She had one ear that gave me fits. I thought she was destined to be a crop and flop, but finally at just under three years old, her ear decided it wanted to stand. It has been up ever since. There were times I really wanted to give on posting that ear, but I'm glad I stuck with it.
Leo is doing great! He is not only very handsome, but very very smart! Only issue we have been working with him on is ever since we had him neutered (age 10 months) - he has become overly dominate when he sees other dogs & people in our neighborhood. We have pretty much squelched his dominance with other people, but we are still working on the other dogs. ItТs not that he wants to attack them, he really wants to play with them, only he sounds like he wants to attackЕso you can imagine some of our neighbors reactions! He is also way overly protective of me - and we are working on that as well.
We have an awesome trainer who along with his staff is providing us with great training techniques and continuous home visits. We take Leo to group training sessions three weekends a month and he is doing well there, the group sessions are really to train us, the dogs already know how to behave - and it really is amazing to watch how Leo immediately knows what to do when he sees the trainers, whether it be at group or when they come to our house.
We are also planning to work with the trainers to (hopefully) accomplish service dog training; our goal is to take Leo to visit our vets at VA hospitals & homes - but of course we have to get beyond where we are now.
IТve attached some photos & will send some videos. He is really great around family, the kids, grandkids and other family dogs. (ItТs just other dogs when walking in neighborhood).
One of the pictures is Leo with Sophie, a white Doodle, who is in training to become a service dog. The trainers sometimes bring her over to help with distraction training. Leo is very smitten with Sophie, lol!
Thanks for being in touch, great to hear from you! Take Care, Monica
Greetings Irina Ц
Pai Mai (aka Jewel from your Mustang & Katana Ko J-litter) is doing great!
CanТt thank you enough for her!
Cheers, Maria & Ron
Sage is great! She is 3 now (time flies right). She is super smart and very easy to train and she is a great family dog and is very protective of us and the house. I attached a pic so you can see how beautiful she is ??. Thanks for checking on her!
I hope you and your family are doing well. I just wanted to give you update on Qara. SheТs doing very well. I call her Kiska. She has been a blast to have around. SheТs smart, curious, adventurous, lovable, and almost human at times. She absolutely loves it at the farm. She bounces around in the hay and climbs any and everything she can. I swear must be she part Billy goat! SheТs doing ok with the cats. SheТs not aggressive towards them at all, but doesnТt realize how big she is. They hide when she starts to squish them with her big olТ paws. The kids I teach riding lessons to absolutely love her. She got a rope toy and a Christmas stocking from one of them last week. Spoiled! We go out on socializing trips a few times a week. I get compliments on her all the time. IТve taken her to parades, carnivals, pet stores, hardware stores, hiking trails, tailgating for football games, and to a juvenile detention center.
IТve recently been hired to start an animal program at the local juvenile detention center. Once a week, I go and visit the kids with some sort of animal in tow. We are trying to provide a good experience for them, while teaching them in a non-traditional way. Normally, I take a horse up there. I hope to start taking Kiska regularly as well. IТve taken her there a few times. She did great. ItТs a very odd setting with all the clanging metal doors, kids in orange jumpsuits, guards in uniforms, etc. She handled it all in stride. A friend took her SCH1 GSD to the detention center to do a demo one day. Kiska went that day as well. The girl set the sleeve down while she did obedience, and Kiska stole it. She was so proud of herself for finding a new toy. Yesterday, Kiska and I went to visit a schutzhund club that my friend belongs to. ItТs mostly GSD and malinois people. They had nothing but nice things to say about Kiska. They were impressed. I got a lot of comments about great nerve she has. The training director got out a puppy tug and asked if I wanted to see what she would do. She was a super star. I was one proud owner! She showed a lot of interest. She tugged it, pounced on it, barked, and carried it off the field to the truck when he let her win.
Her ball drive is insane. She loves, loves, loves to fetch. Tennis balls are her favorite, but she will play with most any type. She has a big Jolly Ball (made for horses) she carries around at the barn. She tries to take it with her when I load her in the truck. She gives me a pitiful look when I make her leave it behind. Her expressions are hysterical. So human!
Her ears are coming along. They are standing, but the left one is lazy. I donТt know how else to describe it. It will stand all day long, but if she goes to sleep it flops. After she wakes up, the left ear wonТt wake up. It stays flopped. IТm still posting. IТm hoping that the УlazyФ ear will continue to get stronger.
All in all sheТs been an excellent addition to my house. I really appreciate you allowing her to come live with me. SheТs definitely loved! I attached plenty of pictures so you can see what sheТs been up to. Enjoy!
Lexi's ears are coming along beautifully!
She's such a sweet dog. Super smart and very brave. Thanks for such an awesome dog! We'll continue to keep you updated :)
Great to hear from you. Ozzy is doing great. He will be 6 on 9/9. Such a great dog. He still doesn't like to swim at all, but loves to play in the water hose with the grandkids. Of course there is the constant ball and frisbee...
A couple pictures of him waiting for a ball, getting ready to jump for a frisbee with some of his play mates, and with his little buddy Beemer (his pet). They are inseparable.
So glad we have to opportunity to have him as part of the family. He is on his sofa at the foot of our bed tight now, of course covered up with his blanket and his nose sticking out. He has to have it that way. I swear he is OCD... I hope all is well!
She is going well.
Thanks for checking in.
They are really great! Wonderful athletes. Very healthy and beautiful! I call them my super-model Dobes.
We do a lot of exercise together. They are both about 75 lbs. now.
He is doing well he is growing and is extremely intelligent and playful I am very happy to have him in my home. He is adjusting well to city life and I take him on morning runs with me for exercise as well as the dog park to socialize him with other dogs.
Thanks Irina for following up! They are spoiled loving dogs! Berlin is 85lbs and always working. We've never trained her to work, but that is just her. She goes out on patrol at least 4 times a day. She circles the immediate 4 acres around the house ( we live on 53 acres) and Zurich watches her from the house ready to back her up if she calls. God forbid something is out of place i.e. car parked where it's not suppose to be, leave a shovel out leaning against a tree, move a 10" rock to a different location in the front yard, she will alert you that something is out of place. She knows when it's a " real" alert verses Zurich barks at everything including a squirrel in the yard.
Zurich is 115lbs and a big lover, lap dog and always ready to back up Berlin. He wants to please whereas Berlin is more independent. When Zurich is let outside, he immediately races out 20 feet and announces to the forest he is there and don't dare come close, he also is up 4-5 times a night hearing or smelling wildlife outside and wakes us growling or barks. Berlin rarely responses to his antics because she knows they are deemed to her as false alarms and Zurich is just showing his testosterone. Berlin IS a bitch and tries to put Zurich in his place, but gets frustrated because she really can't because of his size. He dances around her and playfully "laughs" at her, when she tries to reprimand him for anything.
Zurich has issues with peeling off chunks of his paw pads when playing fetch. They are extremely competitive which each other and when the ball is thrown, nothing else in the world exists except that ball. Zurich usually reaches it first, but the torque he puts on his paws really rips them up at times. We don't have grass to play on but wilderness dirt ground and he always seems to hurt his pads. Berlin has never hurt her pads, so I think it's his weight.
They are the best dogs! Love them dearly!
Berlin is always on alert and rarely announces false alarms. She is very stealthy and is much more serious than Zurich.
Hope you and all the pups are doing well! Just wanted to send you some pics of Major (from your Z litter)...can't believe he is already over 2 years old!! He still acts like a big baby :)
We could NOT be happier! Major is the most beautiful Doberman I have ever seen and we can't walk down the street without getting stopped by people thinking the same thing. He is just a big sweetheart and we love him to death.
Thank you again for a great dog,
Nice to hear from you. Emir is doing great :) He and the cat are still good friends, and he's made some new doggy friends at a daycare we take him to, although he prefers his people friends the most! :) He is pretty sure his sole purpose in life is to guard my every move-- he's like my shadow haha.
Hope all is well with you and yours! Sherri
Here are a few pics...
Lexi was an angel on the ride home. Not a peep out of her the whole 7 hours! She loves our other dog, but he's not sure what to make of her yet. :) She's going to be a great addition to our family. She's such a sweetie.
Thank you, Jen
Thought you would like to know that Ashley (Jaranga) is doing great. She is healthy and sassy. She has her AKC CGC and is well adjusted, although she does like to pull while walking on leash. We are working on that. She keeps me busy and off the couch. She has become my best friend.
Thank you for inquiring. I hope all is well with you.
Irina: Loki has been a fabulous puppy and the picture below was from last week on a trip to Bethany Beach. He wasn't exactly a natural swimmer but gradually got more and more comfortable getting in the water. We have completed Puppy class and basic obedience and we start intermediate in the fall. He has yet to meet a dog or a person he doesn't love and other than jumping and counter surfing on occasion, he has excellent manners.
We would love to figure out a time to bring Loki out to see you. I hope all is well and I am sorry it has been so long in between messages.
He is doing fabulously well! Such a sweet and lovable boy. He goes tomorrow for his final checkup with the vet (last puppy shots). Here is a picture that I took last week before I re-taped his ears...they are looking good.
We've decided to call him Tank, as he seems to just plow through anything that is in his way when he wants to get to someone, haha.
Thanks so much for everything! We couldn't be happier that we contacted you when we were looking for a Doberman!
Hi Irina. We love our girl. She is so good and sweet.
Jax is turning one in a few days, and I just wanted to let you know that he is doing great! He is absolutely the sweetest, most beautiful dog I could have ever asked for. He is so well behaved I take him everywhere I go, and he is always the star of the show. He loves going downtown to the river and playing on the beach, and fetch is is favorite thing in the world. And for a 90lb puppy, you'd be shocked how little he can curl up when he is trying to get on the couch with me. Anyway, I am so lucky to have him. I love him to pieces.
Thanks again for letting me adopt him!
My extended family and I rent a lake house every year and Kaiser is having a blast here! He loves having all the extra room to run and the lake to play in. He hasn't figured out the whole swimming thing yet, his big paws end up splashing water in his face and he doesn't like it, but he does love jumping in and running around in the water. He has really changed the perspective of some people in my family who were scared of him at first and wanted me to keep him away from everyone. Now everyone here loves him, even a little girl who was terrified of him but now is always wanting to play with him. He's great with everyone he meets. We've been keeping him off leash here and he never leaves anyone's side. All in all I think Kaiser fits in well.
Hope you and your family had a great 4th of July weekend!
Ah-Heel and I are doing wonderful. He will be attending bomb and explosive school here very shortly. We work every day together and he's with me 24/7
Just wanted to say how much we love our Huey(Hector) from your H litter. He will be 7 in November, and this boy has been the most special, perfect dog I could have
ever hoped for. Thank you for that.
The we just got the little guy back from the vet. Puppy exam went great along with
the ear cropping. He is continuing to adjust well. Anyway, just wanted to let you know all is well and he is well loved.
Ruger is doing great!!!! He just turned 2 this march. I love him so much!!!!! You are amazing breeders thank you for my wonderful dobe!!!
Hi! We are most likely finished ear posting on Dagger.
I've attached a few pictures of him.
He is a such a sweet and calm boy. Everyone who has met him falls in love and comments on how "chill" he is.
Training is going very well. Our trainer has a Dobie as well and has given us great specific advice.
We switch Dagger to Nature's Variety since his coat seemed to flake a bit. Since the switch his coat is amazing and bowel movements are solid!
Overall he is awesome and we are so happy he is part of our family!

Happy Memorial Day! Ms Irina!
I took kaiser to the memorial day parade in my town yesterday and he did awesome! He let people pet him and did great walking through large groups of them. He even laid on a women's lap while she pet him. I gave him a couple of breaks throughout just to give him some quiet time. Hes an amazing puppy and makes an amazing impression on everyone he meets. Here's a couple of pics of him.
He finished his puppy class as well. I love the difference between the American Dobie and the euro. Really glad I went with euro. He's doing good with training especially off leash. Took him to a lake the other day and he jumped in. Thanks again!
Hello from Stanley. He's doing great!
Hi Irina, This is Kaya and Jennifer from California. We picked up a small female from you last year July. Today is Coco's one year birthday, she's been a great family member since day one. Her great temperament has changed many people's impression about Dobermans. We can't thank you enough for choosing the prefect dog for us, and keep on doing great things for this breed.
We are planning to get another male from you, hopefully sometime next year.
Ahil is doing great. His bite performance has been wonderful and is listening 100% with those commands. He loves doing that. His obedience commands in general he's wanting to fuss a little but doing much better.
He has socialized well with everyone everywhere I have taken him and he and the male sheep-a-doodle are big play buddies.
Hi Irina, Today was a beautiful day here in Massachusetts. We took the pup, his big little sister, and his cousin Louie (a maltise pomeranian mix who's about 7 months) to the park and they had a blast. They ran all over the place and loved chasing each other around! Kaiser especially loved having another friend to play with. I wanted to thank you for giving us a very well socialized and sweet pup. He loves people! Everywhere we go people want to pet him and love when he rolls over for them to rub his belly. We've even gotten to know some of our neighbors better because of him! When they see kaiser they ask to play with him.()Thanks again for everything!
Ps. I've included some pictures and a video of today along with some others! We love the way he sleeps with his feet and legs stretched out in the air! Ear taping is going pretty good we took them down yesterday morning for his puppy class and for his bath and just didn't tape them again yet.
He is adjusting well - we named him Ruger - here's a pic of him and my boys hanging out. He is such a smart, beautiful, well tempered pup. Thank you!!!!!!
Everything is going good with the pup, he grows bigger and bigger by the day.
Just wanted to give you an update! We have named our little girl Kalie and we absolutely love her! She has a wonderful personality. I attached a few photos of her playing in the snow we just got. All she wants to do is eat it! Haha
Hope all is well. Brenda
I'm located in North Carolina and I own one of your Dobermans "Kaiser Emperor" first pick male out of your 2009 breeding between Titus Tarantula Von Jahrestal
and Canis Maximus Dea Dorres. Kaiser is enormous, he's bigger then his sire Tarantula... Kaiser is on German commands and is fully trained in house/owner protection,
he does awesome bite work and has been exposed to weapons and gun fire and does really good in all his fields of training.
He's a big spoiled baby who spends all his time as a inside dog with my family. He's absolutely beautiful and just enormous.
Sorry it's taken so long.. but, no computer, then no working camera.. anyway.. Hope all is going well with the family and your kennel.
Kadi is doing great. Wanted you to at least get to how much see grown. Been doing obedience/ bite work with her. She doing great, she loves working. We've been going at it slow... the trainer I am working with said to take it slow because she is lighter and still building bone right now. I think she looks great. What do you think? (She definitely my girl, likes the kennel. But, still loves the chance to sleep in bed with me too)
Take care.... Betsy, AJ and Miss Kadi
Just wanted to give you an update on the puppy. We have decided to name him kaiser and he is doing well. Currently asleep from his visit to the vet. We took him to the
vet and they said everything was good with him, paws are healing nice, although the ears are a little bit swollen. He got his kennel cough vaccination as well.
Looking forward to starting training with Athena. She has been awesome with my kids.
Hi, have been researching Dobermans with the thought of purchasing sometime later this year. Just wanted to commend you on your beautiful dogs and fantastic web site.
The thoroughness, knowledge and obvious level of excellence you seek is most impressive and a huge confidence builder for a prospective client.
I have owned Dobermans in the past and love the breed. Thanks for your extremely helpful web site. Burke
Happy valentines day! Ms Irina! im still growing!
Just wanted to show you a few more recent pics of Coco. She is very spoiled already but is eager to please and quite happy I think!
Just wanted to let you know that she made it in the car without getting sick and slept the whole way. She's moved her toys into her crate and has eaten and gone
to the bathroom outside. No accidents so far and I've been teaching her to sit and I swear she almost has it down already!
Thanks again and I'll be in touch.
All is well with Aldo. IТll send you a picture of him in another email. He looks good. :)
Happy New Year! From Adam, Camila, and Rona
Ears r looking great!
Happy new year. OSKAR is such an amazing dog. !!! Where do I begin to tell you.. Let's just say that I couldn't imagine not having him. Woof woof! Happy new year
Hugs from all of us.
Nitro is doing great! He is such a smart boy. He is learning quickly to potty outside!! He is a dream. Took him to the vet and got a clean bill of health. I love him.
He loves us and we love him. Thank you!
I wanted to email and say thank you for placing Jackson with me! He is absolutely everything I wanted and more. He is the sweetest boy. My roommate and I just moved into a house with a fenced in back yard, so Jackson and her dog have tons of room to play outside, and they love it. He is five months old now, and his personality is growing everyday. He loves fetch, and hates tags on his toys (or anything for that matter, he's even taken some off my shirts!). He licks peoples ears, and thinks he is a lap dog.
Attached is a picture from last week. We were playing fetch!
Lindsay and Jackson
Hi Irina, Things with Red are going great. She really seems to be adapting well to us. Very pretty dog, great temperament. I attached a pic if you're
interested - Man, they grow fast. 2 weeks and she's already bigger.
He is so sweet. Exploring one room at a time. Very cuddly, loves running in the yard with the boys. He is AWSOME! Liked the RV too!
Jackson is perfect! I took him to the vet today and everything checks out, he is a perfectly healthy, happy puppy. He is getting along great with the other dogs in the
house and my roommates as well. We are even making real progress on potty training and basic commands. I'll keep you posed on his progress :)
Hello, I'm emailing you to give you a update on Ali a male doberman me and my boyfriend purchased from you back in 2011. He is doing Great and now is a healthy
3 year old big boy! :) Thank you again! Stacey
I hope you're doing well and your new kennel is everything you hoped it would be. Vaughn and I went to our favorite field to do a birthday photo shoot but people were using it until after the sun went down. Vaughn insisted I send you something for his birthday though, so he posed for this photo (below) and we'll try for better shots tomorrow.
He's a beauty Irina, he gets complements all day long. He goes everywhere with me and is remarkably well-socialized- he thinks everyone is a playmate. He shies away from absolutely nothing at all and he never appears uneasy. He wants to play with other dogs, he hasn't shown any aggression.
All the vets comment on his friendly temperament, as well as his how "confident" he is. They also comment on his "conformity" and how good he looks, as well as the shine to his coat.
He is a little over 26 inches at the very top of his front shoulder and I guess his weight to be over 80 pounds now.
He gets full exercise every day for about 40 minutes. His ball drive is extremely intense and he can not be bothered with food, water, or anything else when it's time to exercise with his ball or frisbee. He runs so hard that he will exhaust himself but still try to keep exercising so I have to be careful about that. Sometimes I divide exercise into two different sessions in a day.
In short, Vaughn is a happy, healthy dog. As I said to my sister last week, buying a doberman from you was one of the best decisions I have made in the last 10 to 15 years. I can't thank you enough.
Much love, Mark & Vaughn
Here's your baby girl. Ears are taking a rest this weekend:)
She's getting big!
Hi Irina, This is Kaya and Jennifer from California. We picked up a small female from your kennel 3 weeks ago. She's about 30 lbs now. Here is how she looks. Thanks!
Hi Ms Irina , i just wanted to say thanks for our new member of the family ! she has progressed in amazing time this week with the crate and house breaking ! she is so intelligent at such a young age ! everything i had read about the breed is true ! she loves car rides
and just being as close to us as she can constantly ! we love to wear her out with play and see her crash for a nap ! she is a joy !
I have attached some recent pictures of Aru. I have him doing weight pulling with a weight pull harness up hill 3 days a week which has his chest looking huge. Anyhow, here are some picture of him.
Love this Guy!!!!
Ruger has grown into a beautiful dog!
Here are some pictures of Aru doing his Schutzhund training. I will send you some more. The Trainer things he can make it to level 3 due to temperament and his ability to focus. It takes true love and passion in breeding to develop a dog like this.
How is Daddy? Eliska looks more like him as she matures. She is so friggin smart that teaching her is fun. Its like playing charades lol.
»рина, добрый день!

I just wanted to let you know that Zeus is doing great. He is sweet and getting big(65pounds). We bought him a friend. See below. He is so beautiful and has the
prettiest coat I've ever seen. We love him. He sleeps on the sofa all through the night and never wakes us up.
He gets really excited when around other dogs.
This may seem like an odd e-mail, but I randomly stumbled upon your website, and though I am not currently in the market for a puppy at this time, I just wanted to say thank you for being so honest and upfront on all of your information. I have been a Vet Tech for the past 10 years and have seen one of two things way too many times: "breeders" that have no clue what they are doing or clients that have been simply lied to, getting pups with parvo, home ear crops or such heavy parasite loads that they have to have blood transfusions. I suppose it was just refreshing to see someone that actually cares about the breed, and dogs in general. At this time my heart and home belong to a 7 year old French Mastiff and a year old 3-legged mutt, but I will be looking into a Doberman pup within the next several years and will definitely keep you in mind!
Thank you for your time and for being so upfront!
I apologize for taking so long to update you on Leo! He is doing wonderful and growing everyday! He has a trainer, who comes to the house 2-3 times a week and he as well as us, are doing awesome! The training is all based on praise (no treats) which I really like because you can really see how much Leo wants to please, by the way he LOVES bellyrubs!! He has learned sit, down, off, stay, place and heel, which by the way he does superbly!
We have taken him out to a couple of street events (art shows) and he loves all the attention he gets! He is such a stud. We've had several people ask where we got him! One particular woman is very interested and I've emailed her your website.
Any way, just want to let you know that Leo is such a wonderful, lovable little guy!! Hope you and your family (as well as the furry ones) are doing well!
Take care, Monica
Updated pics of Panzer at 3.5 years of age. We are going to start back with schutzhund training this spring...thought I would let him mature a little more. He is now the size of Mustang...28.5" to 29" at the shoulder and 105 lbs lean. Panzer is my heart dog and puts a smile on my face everyday..love that dog!!
Yesterday I was moving a pile of branches and I called him over before I got to the bottom so he could check for snakes for me. Within 10 seconds he went right to where the copperhead was hiding and started growling...it was under the next branch I was going to pick up and I probably would have been bit. It tried to strike Satchel, but he is so quick he dodged it.
When he was 6 months old he chased off a trespasser...he stayed five feet away aggressively barking until they got off our property.
A few weeks after that we were putting in the fence around our yard...one of the workers got too close to where my son was playing and Satchel went crazy. I had him tied to a zip line and he tried everything he could to get away and get to my son. As soon as the guy walked the other way he stopped barking. I was amazed that even at such a young age he just seemed to sense danger.
I though you would want to see how Aru was doing. His head is growing into those ears lol. He is done with the first part of his PP training. He is good of and on leash with
distractions. when he is 1 he will start his bite work. The vet said he is 85lbs and is looking like he will be a very buff dog.
Here is a picture of two of your dogs.......
Baron loves the boys! Sleepover and hours in the snow!
Sully is doing well and has lots of energy. He is now five months old (See the attached photo). It was so nice to receive you recent card.
Robert and Stephanie
My name is Susan and I am researching Doberman and Doberman breeders in preparation for purchasing a new Doberman puppy. I have owned Doberman for over 30 years but I have
always gotten them from back-yard breeders because I simply didnТt know there were any other options. When I got my last Doberman there were no Doberman puppies available in
my area so I had to search harder and I learned about the Houston Doberman Rescue group and found a wonderful female there. She is now 9 years old and my vet suggested that
I get a puppy now, but to avoid health problems she suggested that I find a breeder that does health testing. So I am searching and learning. I have spent several hours
today reading the information on your website and I just wanted to tell you thank you for all the work you have done on it. It has been wonderfully informative and IТm sure
I will come back to it many times.
I read an article you published in your blog in November and my experience on this puppy search really proves it to be true. I have been searching and researching for
over a month and I had begun to feel like breeders that sell show dogs were a closed community that didnТt really want to sell their dogs to someone like me who doesnТt have
the desire to show the dog. I have checked the AKC website for lists of breeders and all I would get was an email addresses which is not where I was comfortable starting.
I also searched the website for the Doberman Pinscher Club of America and the Doberman Pinscher Club of Houston. I even sent an email to the group in Houston, but they
didnТt bother to respond. I found that the websites were out of date and not easy to navigate. I searched for AKC Breeders of Merit and discovered that there is no list
of them anywhere, the only way I found any at all was to just do Google searches. I found a few websites that way, but the majority of the Breeders of Merit that had
websites hadnТt bothered to update them in years. It was most frustrating. Finding your website that was up to date and contained so much information was a wonderful
Now I am inspired to learn even more. IТm going to educate myself on all these abbreviations you use in the dog business and the testing terminology and what it means.
Then when I look at a website like yours with all the letters by the photos I will actually know what it means. I still have a lot to consider in purchasing a puppy. I have
to consider American vs European and whether it really makes a difference to me or not and why. I have to consider whether IТm willing to purchase a dog that I didnТt get
to pick out myself and if that is my only option then I guess I will have to find a breeder that I trust enough to let them pick my puppy for me. I have always purchased
my dogs from people who owned the parent dogs so that I could visit with the parent dogs and check their temperament, then I would sit in that pile of puppies for hours if
necessary until just the right one became obvious. This has always worked really well for me, but it doesnТt seem to work like that with non-backyard breeders. It really
is a different environment in many ways. I have a lot to learn, but I feel empowered now because I learned so much today going through your website.
Thank you for your wonderful website and for all the information I learned today,
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR... CANIS MAXIMUS
Hi Irina, From sunny California.... Kadi is doing great!
We had to put the ears back up a few days before Christmas...WOW, we are in full teething mode..... so they were doing the teeter totter thing.
Kadi is really one smart lady.. I started marker training with her, she caught on so fast. I got the DVD's from Leerburg.com. I had them when I had my other dobes... but they are even better now.
Irina, I just love how smart Kadi is.... Her really intense drive makes me so excited.. to see how she does with the new tugs I got for too. She was a "AWESOME" pick for us.
More photo's soon....Betsy, and AJ
Adler with his new 7 month old brother Colby. They have become best of friends!
My puppy is no longer a baby!! He was 75 lbs. at six months when he was neutered and he is solid as a rock. Still acts like a puppy.
He is a handsome dog!!
Have a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Tom
I got your Christmas card....thank you. "Satchel" is doing great, he has moved out of the puppy problems and is turning into a wonderful family dog.
Just today he saved me from getting bitten by a copperhead snake that was under a brush pile I was clearing out. He is so smart....almost too smart at times!
He quickly figured out how to open the doors in our house and can let himself in and out. He quickly picks up almost any trick I teach him, including knowing his left from right paw and how to whisper!
He weighs about 70lbs and loves to wrestle with my 4 y/o son. Despite his size he is very gentle and thinks of himself as a lapdog....his favorite thing to do is give my wife hugs.
We recently rescued a Basset Hound and he plays with her non-stop. He shares everything with her and has never been aggressive at all.
Dear Irina and family,
We wish you a merry Christmas and a very happy new year.
Words can not explain how much we love and enjoy your little girl. We should have gotten a Doberman a long time ago!
Henry, Raffaela, Lilly, Valor and Mina
He is doing very well. We took him for a long walk and he is good on a leash. He is well behaved and playing with his toys.
He is so sweet and friendly. He sits when you ask him. He likes the bed we bought him and likes to chew his bone and lay in the bed.
I just wanted to let you know he checked out in good health at the vet. The ears are standing up on their own.
We love him and are so glad we found him.
The baby is 122 pounds.
But not an ounce of fat: all solid muscle!
Loves to run free in marsh and on the beach and on golf course at this time of year. :-))
Hi Irina! Just wanted to send you a few photos of my baby. She is doing great, she is loving life. Finally i got a job at a vet hospital about 15 miles away so she comes
to work with me everyday. We go to the beach every morning and afternoon - she has GREAT ball drive and if i don't run her at least twice a day she is wired! She is great
with cats! I have never had a doberman that loved cats but she will play and play and play with the cats that live at the hospital. She is my best friend and I am so
happy with her. I am definitely recommending your kennel to my clients. I bring her everywhere with me and she does great in the car. She still has a great appetite,
I recently changed her food to High Energy/performance food - next adventure is I am saving up to send her to do some professional training at a school that trains
all kinds of working dogs. I think she would do good in agility - we are already working on obstacles and she loves it.
I hope everything is good and I will send you more pictures in the future!!
Have a good christmas!!!
Not too bad? what do you think?
Vaughn is getting taller, longer, and muscular very fast, and his coat has a lovely shine. His ball drive seems excellent (although of course I'm an inexperienced judge).
He's showing a lot of will and is increasingly fearless. After one week the chewing destruction has been limited to the corner of a dresser drawer, and he understands
house-training but doesn't know how to tell me he needs to go outside. I'll look into setting up the bell.
I can't thank you enough for this remarkable dog.
He arrived perfectly!!! He's met Lucy and they seem to get along just fine - he follows her & me everywhere! Very curious - so cute!! Here are the pictures of
Lucy & him getting acquainted, and one playing with a toy. (The one with him on my lap you can barely see him, he blends right in with my black shirt. The last one
I just took now, he's worn out - long day!
He is perfect and beautiful. Great personality! I'll send more pic's later.
Thank you so much!!
i'm not sure how soon to expect Vaughn to start learning but he's already chasing the ball and bringing it back, he just figured it out instinctively.
i'm not working with treats, just positive affirmation.
house training, however... this apparently is going to take a little longer... : )
Thought you might like to see Kadi... She's doing just awesome. She's so smart she's almost potty trained, and we are so proud of her. She whines and makes these
little sighing sounds when she wants out. She has even got to be really good about having me use the Dremel to do her nails. Wow, I am so glad for that...
I was expecting it to take longer to get her use to the idea of having it done. She loves sunbathing out on the porch...she waits for the sun to come around..
and then whines to be let out. My son says... she's definitely decided she's a California girl. : ) Betsy
SHE IS WONDERFUL!!! She is so well behaved. We have had a great weekend with her and tonight she went to the vet and he thought she was a beautiful dog.
She has a great personality. We are so happy with her. I will send some pictures soon.
Oskar waiting for school bus :-)
Baron is now 6 months old. He's very smart and loves to learn. He's still a pup and has his puppy moments.
He is swimming twice a week in a jetted swim spa. This is helping him build muscle without stress on his growing joints.
He is growing so fast he now weighs 72.5 pounds. We walk everyday after a good ball workout. Yesterday he protected me
from a couple of roosters that were following us and getting way to close. His leash work is outstanding. We have and need
work on coming when he's called. If he can see me he thinks it's good enough. He's a great pup, we really are enjoying him.
He's a momma's boy needs to be with me 24/7.
I also want to say, You have some of the nicest Dobermans I have ever seen. I have had Dobermans most of my life and to this day I have not seen any better looking and great quality as yours are. You to me are #1 in the Doberman world.
I have seen nice ones out there don't get me wrong but none as nice as what you have.
Have a great night.
Here is an updated picture of our little guy, Lincoln! He gets bigger every day and loves going up and down stairs.
Also loves other dogs and kids.
I wanted to send you a picture of Zurich. He was the large pup with the white mark on his chest. He is 115lbs and still growing just over a year old. He is a big goofball and so loving and laid back.
Now Zurich has been alerted by Berlin and he is on watch too.
You can tell Berlin is a worker. She never alerts unless its real but Zurich will alert when a squirrel farts. Ha! Berlin gets up at 4am and wants to go on patrol as I call it. I let her out and she circles the entire house (we have a porch all the way around our house) then she comes back in and sleeps till 7am.
Zurich is a big loveable goof. He is just as intelligent as Berlin but channels his actions in all stance and not much substance. He can give the most ferocious deep bark and growls but don't ask him to act on them...that's Berlins job. We love them so much and their personalities compliment each other. If they both had personalities like Berlin I think there would be some fights. However Zurich is laid back and you can see him look at Berlin and say " Oh whatever'".
Hi! Here are some pics! He is getting sooooo big and absolutely beautiful. He is about 55lbs now :)
I received the paperwork for the registration. Thanks.
This week's funny story: I was digging potatoes yesterday and Maximus was out there with me. I had dug the visible potatoes and Max came along behind where I was digging and started digging furiously. He smelled the potatoes still in the ground and dug them out. He didn't try to eat them; he just dug them out. He did this three times. He's a potato sniffer!!
He really has real dog toys!
She is great!! We named her Katie. Such a sweet natured girl. I'm so surprised (as is everyone who meets her) at how calm
she is. We have done A LOT of socializing and she has learned to sit and is learning to walk more respectfully on her leash.
She has done well with her crate, and house training is a daily learning experience :)
She is starting to really chew and has several toys and bones that she loves. Her ears are coming along nicely
This is a picture of the first unwrapping. She sits so sweetly while I wrap her ears! She really is THE BEST puppy,
and we could not love her more! Did I mention that she is absolutely beautiful?!
I have to tell you my boy Baron is amazing! Baron started using the trend mill with me. He is so funny, We have it
outdoors on a covered porch. He's been watching me and he just hopped on. Today he did 5 to 6 minutes on it.
Of course I slow it down. Just love him! Will send video when I have someone to run it. Karen
Baron learning guard duty from Jade.
Very handsome dude Oskar
He is officially a born water dog. LOVED the beach!
Hi Irina, Just got back from taking Baron to see my Vets. Everyone loves him. He checked out just fine. Stool clear.
He weighs 29.8 lbs. Everyone that works there came out to meet him and make it a happy visit. He is so smart and he's
healing all of us. Jade is watching him and getting closer, Baron really respects her space which is a good thing. I think
in a week or two she'll be playing with him. She goes out with us when he goes out and is very protective of him.
His ears are healing up real nice.
Ears after first posting.
Here are a few pictures of Boris from your Q litter. He will be turning 2 next week. A handful, but I love him.
Enzo is going to be 6 mths in a week. Currently about 65 lbs. Strong, active, super smart. Awesome with kids and even plays gently with smaller dogs.
Total quality tv time!!
Sorry it's taken so long to reply. I just wanted to update you on Kiska (Qara). She's a big lovable goof ball. She's the happiest dog ever. I love her to death. I've decided she's part mountain goat (loves to climb), part fish (swimming fool), part hog (I get rooted off the bed every night), and part opera singer (she hit some really high notes while screeching during crate training). I'm hoping to have her ready for a BH by the end of this year. She really works hard for me and is smart as a whip, but we need work under distractions. I'm also interested in dock diving and agility. Who knows which she will decide is her favorite. Now for the pics... Thanks for letting this awesome girl come live with me.
Good evening all,
Just wanted to share a few pics with you. Dr Johnson, you know him as Enoch. Enjoy...
Irina he is wonderful.. Dr Johnson, thanks for the stellar crop...
Yakira is doing great. She fit into the "pack" within a few days. We are doing our second class. The first
I missed several so now we are taking a second one. She is so sweet and I adore her. She is so smart also.
Every where I go everyone just loves her and says how beautiful she is. I have had her spayed about a month ago.
Hope you didn't get too much snow. It seems like it was a bad winter back there. I couldn't be happier with Yakira.
Thank you so much for letting me have her in my life.
Hello Irina I was thinking I needed to send you some updates. First ,Canis Maximus "E"li Romulus, we call him Romus.
Ears are very good. He has tried to scratch them some and has made some sores. I keep them taped completly now. I will
send a few pics of them from yesterday when I took them down. He was around 17lbs. when we got him on 2-15, he is now
25lbs. I feed him ground venison and beef. Calf liver, sardines for protein, long-grain rice for carbs and a mixture
of vegetables mostly sweet potato and green beans, carrots. I do feed a little of some grain free kibble with kefir on it.
We grow our own kefir and I prefer the grains, he gets most of the whey and seems to love it. He is "sitting" and doing
"down" really well. I work daily with him now. I think by weeks end I should feel confident with him on hikes and in public
on leash. He got to play with a collie, lab and a dane yesterday. I am impressed at how controllable he is even under these
distractions. He is very alert and I can tell his eyes are really good. We are very pleased with him thus far. Donnie
Ears after only 2 weeks!
Here's the beautiful boy (Hector) aka Huey from your glorious H litter! He is a fantastic boy in every way!!!! Love, love, love, him! Thank you for breeding such fantastic Dobermans! Ginny in Florida
It has been awhile. Ares is doing great and he is growing into a beautiful dog.
We love him very much and he fit our family well. He is stubborn like all of us he has listening problems like my son haha but he also can be very loving!!
We have started a bioscience class which hopefully will help with some of his behavior like jumping up on the counter not coming when he is called :-)
We hope all is well with you and your family?
Thank you again for a beautiful dog!! Christina
Diesel was from one of the imported litters. He will be 2 in Feb. Here's a picture from last week. I think he still has
more growing to do. Everyone that meets him can't get over how large his paws are.
Hi Irina- Just thought to send you a couple of pics of Deimos (Zenit Slavy). He is now 6 months old and my wife and
I feel like he has been here forever, not just three months. He gets along with our other Dobe (Pyrrah) so good even
though when she's had enough playing she puts him in his place. He is so well mannered and calm for a puppy.
His behavior is far above expectations. Our 4 year old and him are comical together. Deimos puts up with so much from
him and he just lets it go like nothing. He's been a great addition to our family! Thanks again and hope you had a great
holiday, Chuck, Jacque, Chase, Pyrrah, and Deimos.
Hope you and your family are having a good holiday season. Emir is doing great! We adore him :). Here are a few pictures...
Yes, he gets along great with the cat- can you believe it?!
Happy New Year! Sherri and JJ
Hey Happy New Year
Just a few pictures - I posted her ears again after I sent you those last pictures with the weird buckle and 3 days into it she had a sore in one ear and I took them out. The ears are beautiful, that weird buckle almost never happens anymore so I guess we got lucky and she is growing out of it. No one can believe I only posted them for a week I think it was. They stood from the day I flopped them up from being on top of her head from the tape put on after the crop (-:
I love the first picture, her BFF Miles Puppy only has 1 eye and I swear she mimics him! I see her do it but this was the first time I caught it in a picture! She is doing amazing in obedience, tracking, nosework, all the puppy prep work for Schutz, everything... I have yet to ask something of her that she doesnt learn in 2 minutes.
What Im most excited about is she has such a great combo of all the terms people like to throw around drives/hardness/confidence etc. She is steady as she goes, careful, confident and afraid of NOTHING. I said that a couple months ago but she is growing into who she innately is more every day. When I say that, I dont mean how most people think their dog is "protecting" them by going crazy when really its a dog who will run...lol I mean she knows when its cool and when its not and and that isnt something you can teach that is in the DNA. Her head is super pretty too (-:
Thanks again for a wonderfully bred dog.
Hi Irina, Great to hear from you. Kovy is doing great, such a joy to have. He is such a mamma's boy, and always has to follow me around, or lay in my lap. With the cold weather, he has been loving the fireplace, and curling up in front of it. We bring him to daycare once a week, where he gets along with all the dogs just great. There are even some Doberman's he gets to play with. His best friend, is Roxy, an Akita.
My in laws, Roger and Karen, who came to visit you recently, are also loving their Dobe, Brody. Kovy and him get along good. Kovy being the dominate male, likes to play with him, and run around together but when Kovy has had enough, he is done, and will let Brody know to leave him alone. They are really cute together. I attached a picture of them outside. This pic is a little old though.
Hope you are doing well, and you have a Happy Holidays!!!
Greg, Kristy, & Kovy
He's 120 lbs. and my body guard
Irina, Merry Christmas from Zorro and me. Tomas
Here is a picture of Hugo (aka.Boomer) he is out of your 11/09 H litter.
He is a joy and we canТt imagine a day without him!
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Thanks again for an awesome dog.
Just wanted to let you know Konstantin is doing well now with his new friends in our new house. 2012 has definitely been a challenging one, but Konstantin never lost is sweet, feisty personality through it all. In addition to his cats, he has two new rescued friends whom he has become best friends with. Every time we all go for a walk, at least 2-3 people stop me and comment on what a beautiful dog he is. He has been amazing with the new dogs and very patient with them in spite of their previous histories of abuse and neglect. He is teaching them what it means to be an inside family dog with cats!
Being a single woman, I don't tell many people he is such a big baby, but Konstantin still doesn't like me going to the bathroom by myself. He insists I need help! But if someone comes close to me that I am unsure about- he stands in between me and the person and watches them like a hawk.
Konstantin is a lovely dog and everyone wants him :) We still have our challenges from time to time, but I could not have asked for a better companion.
Edgar sends warm holiday wishes to all Dobie lovers from his comfy couch! He is tired after a day of wrapping gifts and barking at the UPS truck! Irina, thank you for a wonderful furry friend!
Happy Holidays from Baltimore,
Here's one I didn't send. Oz standing guard... He knows his territory...
I purchased out puppy from your 'M'-litter (born 8/2/10). I think you had named him 'Markiz' (I can't remember)? But we call him 'Morgan'. I LOVE this breed and I don't think I'll own another breed other than a Doberman again. He had gotten up to 115 pounds but we put him on a diet and he has lost about 10 pounds. I took these pics this morning for you. I think he's gorgeous!
ABOUT HIM: Extremely lazy, spoiled, doesn't like the cold, snow, rain or heat. He prefers to be indoors and although he has the ability to come in and out of the house on his own whenever he wants to, he spends about 95% of his time in the house. If the woodstove or fireplace is burning, that's where he is - as close as he can possibly get! Good personality, great sense of humor, playful - but destroys every toy in minutes! He likes interactive dog toys & games where the reward is the treats that are hidden inside, but we cannot find anything that keeps him occupied for more than a few minutes. But we love him! Thanks!
Diesel is doing wonderful in Asheville, NC! We couldn't imagine him not in our life and has gone on numerous vacations with us. He enjoys running (3-4 times a week) with me on trails or road, running while we mountain bike, hiking or going to the disc golf course, and last but not least playing fetch. He also has many furry friends that he plays with on a regular basis. He is also an avid swimmer and has gone to the beach, lakes, creeks, and rivers to cool off. He is just over 2 years old and he has been a wonderful addition to our family. Thank you for such a gorgeous, smart, and sweet Dobie!!
Brenna and Adam B.
Capo is doing great! He's the best dog :)
Mike & Capo
Hello Irina! And happy upcoming holiday to you and your family and of course the puppies! Ms. Genevieve (aka Zulu) is doing very well. She is in fact taking a nap right at my feet on a plush cushion as I am typing this note. Her leg improved greatly without surgery but simply restricting her running to a more moderate levels. We will continue to be careful for another six months or so and then I will start taking her for long walk again. Thank you for all your advice earlier this year.
Ms. Genevieve is a delight to all of us including the extended family but she is mostly attached to me, which makes me feel very special. We do not have small children in my immediate family, but she is absolutely thrilled and very very careful when my little niece and nephew are visiting. I am attaching a photo of Ms. Genevieve from this summer. Isn't she a beauty!
Hope all is well with you - happy holidays again!
So glad u touched base! Voodoo is doing great! He is a handful and a half but I wouldn't have it any other way. His energy is crazy and have to take him out to the park to let loose and run twice a day and he will full on run super fast for atleast 20 minutes. It's very neat to watch. People all the time stop and just stare then tell me how beautiful he is.
He is apart of VPCA and is police narcotic certified. He is working on getting some competitions under his belt.
Overall though, there is not one person that walks by him and doest stop stare and tell me how beautiful he is. But his personality is even better. He is so sweet and would do anything for me. His personal protection skills and recall are awesome. He trains with mostly shepherds and he is a show stopper.
He is most definitely a handful cause of his non stop energy! And i am so glad he ended up in my hands, someone who loves, has the time, and is patient with him. Thank you for giving me my life long buddy. I love him dearly.
Sam is four now and a delightful dog. The attached pix were taken on his b'day this October.
Mark and Freddi M.
here is Lilly ! she is doing good , thanks for asking
Merry Chiristmas !!
Niko is doing well. He just finished the "Advanced" training class at PetSmart a few weeks ago. My parents take him on 3-4 mile hikes in the woods several days a week while I am at work and he loves it. He is usually very well behaved, but tends not to listen as well if he gets overly excited. He is very friendly and loves being petted by everyone when I take him places.
I attached a picture of me and him from last night.
Thanks for such an amazing dog,
The Doberman Odele I had the privilege of taking home in 2010 (from the February litter I think) is now almost 2
years old and is one of the best dogs I have ever been around. She is a testament to the good breeding you do.
She is mildly aggressive with other dogs and is very competitive. When she plays fetch or tug of war she has outstanding strength and coordination compared to my other dobbie and her verticle is something (must be able to get her nose up to about 7.5 feet when we play. She is truly athletic. In spite of her competitive spirit and natural gifts, however, she is very docile when it comes to me and my guests and I know she would protect me if I needed it. She is also very loving. Odele is a very handsome dog (I get complements from people all the time) and her health has been outstanding. I have heard and witnessed health problems like seizures and digestive problems and other ailments that sometimes come in dogs where the breeder took little care to make sure the dogs they breed will be healthy. With Odele I have had no real health problems to worry about at all. Her health reflects the care that was taken in her breeding. One of the other real pluses of your dobbie is she is very intelligent (I know dobbies are intelligent but she surpasses what I have seen from most dogs). She shows this when she uses her paws like a person would or is trying to communicate with me. I have even noticed the other dogs has learned things from her. She is very smart and also easy to train (which many would agree are two separate things in a dog). I also really like her calm and quiet demeanor. Unlike reports I have heard about many American stock dobbies, where they whine a lot to communicate, she is very quiet almost all of the time. As a whole she is a very good dog and I have loved her a lot. Whether someone is looking for a good family dog and protector or is interested in show or some training I would recommend your dogs to anyone. If I'm ever looking for another dobbie (and they are great- so I will if I have my choice) I plan to look you way first. An awesome dog. Thanks for all your hard work Irina.
Ozzy is such a great dog. I am not sure how I could find a stronger, more intelligent, beautiful dog than him. He was three on 9/9/12. Such a wonderful companion.
Here are some (not too good) pictures of him playing Frisbee. More to followЕ
Honor is amazing! He brings us more laughter, everyday. He continues to love the us and the kids and play every chance he gets! For our sons's 3rd bday (and on Halloween), we were superheroes. Honor was our Superman! We all bathe him - he sits there and lets the kids rinse him off! I hope you enjoy the enclosed photos.
Joe, Misty, Donovan, Jozlyn and Honor
Tadeo (born July 24, 2011) is doing really well. We are currently taking nose work classes to give him some more working skills. He needs a job but I was never able to really get into Schutzhund. I needed a mentor but could not find one. He is flashy, glossy, and sleek - even regal...despite being un-cropped. He is filling out and his muscles are stunning. He is a handful at times (can be a counter surfer if left unattended!) but mostly a really, really good dog. Sleeps in our bed and enjoys his early morning massages. As I have mentioned we live in the foothills now and we are out hiking at least 2 times a day and he needs it. He is keeping us in shape. I never worry with him at my side. He is my best buddy...ever watchful and alert. He goes to doggy daycare a couple of times a week and I especially love those days because he is tired out when he comes home. Sometimes I think life would just be easier if I got him a playmate!
Thanks for checking in....Hope all is well with you, Carrie
Hi, Irina. Attached are some photos of Tasha and Jetta growing up together (they love playing on the jungle gym). Tasha (my brown puppy) is very healthy, outgoing, playful, very well behaved. Jetta is very active. She does have a shy streak, however. She doesn't love strangers.
Hi, I haven't spoken in a couple of years since I got my boy from you. Onyx just turned two and a half years old. He was from The Josie litter I believe in July of 2010. Anyway, I referred my employee Sharon to you a few months back and she got a beautiful boy herself. He looks amazing and is doing great!
My cousin is now looking for a companion as well, so naturally I would like to refer her to you as well. I also just purchased a bigger home and would like to give onyx a brother or sister. So I would like to check into another pup as well.
Let me know when you get a chance please. Thank you, I will add a recent photo of onyx as well. Have a great night.
I get so many compliments on his look and is coat! his temperament is amazing, such a sweet dog. I am so glad to
have picked him. He has earned couch privileges and is hard pressed to give them up (see below).
I am in love already. Yakira is so sweet. Everyone is getting a long. She ate a good dinner. She is now exploring the
living room. She has already peed outside. What a beautiful girl. I feel so blessed. Thank you so much. I'll keep
you posted on how she is doing. V
Here are a few pics of Chloe. She is about 6 months in these pictures. She is now 10 months and 75 lbs. What a sweetheart. Ellen Gilhool
Zorro is thriving and has maxed out at 30" at the shoulders and ca. 100 lbs. He is absolutely gorgeous.Still working on the SchH-1.
Irina, I have attached two pics of Gunner. I took these right before his 1st birthday. He's about 80-85 pounds.
Had a pet expo last weekend and I brought Eliska simply to have her hang at the booth and take it all in while having a safe comfy spot away from anyone or dog being able to bother her (other than my pack)... Well, not sure why I was surprised but she was amazing. She just hangs and watches it all as if to say, hmm, ok, this is interesting... just pondering in a very regal, intelligent way. So I decided to bring her out before the expo started and show her the agility course. I dont do agility for no reason other than I just havent, but how hard could it be I thought. She blew me away. In 10 minutes I couldnt keep up with her as she flew through the course looking back at me saying hello? Whats taking you so long?
So, I raised the bar and instead of using one of the Chihuahua's for one of the demo's they asked me to do last minute I brought Ms Thing in. AMAZING... Irina the crowd was overwhelming to me and she didnt skip a beat. I gave your name and info out to at least 5 people. People stop me on the street constantly. I make sure they know where she came from (-:
Here is the video Chihuahuas, Doberman and Coonhound agility One other note - something that was really cool this past weekend. Took her hiking... my other guys are off leash and she was just dragging a long line. She was cracking me up as she would run up ahead with the Coonhound stop, look back, wait and if we didnt come fast enough she would run back past us and stand there as if she was doing a head count, ok my 2 humans, and 3 pack mate pups, check! Lets go everyone! My husband said is she trying to herd us? I said nope, she is bringing up the back end making sure we are all good. It was priceless.
Hi Irina! I sent this to iz Galakuna, but since you are the reason I have this great dog I thought I should let you know that Hans got his OB1 and TR1!
Wanted to get you some current pics now that the cone is off!! Will send more detailed update email later. Hope all is well with you...
Meet Lucifer. 14 weeks and 29.3 lbs
Hello. I apologize for not contacting you sooner.... The puppy," Axel" is doing well... He is in the crazy, wild stage! He and Stella are getting along well, he can take the rough play. He is a very nice, affectionate, and cuddly puppy. He is incredibly spoiled already. Everyday he goes to the office with Ennio, he has been to every restaurant where there is outside seating. He is a "lap dog"! His ears are doing well, and he is the most tolerant dog I have ever had with the posting process. He isn't fond of the colder weather and is having sneaky accidents with potty training :( he is very obedient and is training well. You chose a very nice puppy for us. I am thrilled. Ennio is loving him!
I hope all is well with you....
Comfortable on clean laundry!
So other than the fact that she barks 19 hours a day and has more energy than a ping pong ball on crack (which I can't even blame her for because its why I picked her lol) she is awesome.
She is beautiful and smart as a whip and afraid of NOTHING. I take her out in the dark a lot on a long line which she doesnt need but just dragging behind her and if she hears a noise or sees something move, she stops, focuses and then charges at it to see what the heck it was. I have trained and had and fostered more dogs than I can count, hundreds, and I have never seen a personality like this.
Her ears look great - Now if I can just get the posts to stay in!
This is Candice S. :) just wanted to give you a quick update on Sage, formerly your "red collar pup"....at almost 4 1/2 months she is getting so big! Still growing into her bark though! She is a whopping 30lbs and is doing great! She is potty trained and has learned many commands. She is training very well! We had her ears cropped at 10 weeks and they are looking really good. She is so beautiful and friendly. We get so many complements on her! We take her almost everywhere we go. She loves going to soccer games and practices and does very well with other dogs big and small. She is not fond of cats though. I attached a pic so you could see how she's changed in the last 10 weeks! Thanks again so much for such an amazing Doberman!
V/r, Candice and Christian
Maybe nobody will notice....
I know I haven't sent pictures and I will. Just wanted to thank you again for these gorgeous boys. Boris (Q litter) and Ivan (T litter) are just fantastic dogs. These boys turn heads everyday. They are hard work, but well worth the effort. Thanks again for your hard work.....it is much appreciated.
Hi Irina - Just returned from our vet and he gives Deimos a clean bill of health. Everything is fine as you know.
The vet was very impressed with him. He said he had a great personality as is a very good looking dog. The ride home
from your house was great, Deimos fell asleep about half way through and stayed that way until we got home. He is calm,
a lover dog, and is fearless! Not afraid of the lawn mower, leaf blower, and a couple big dogs at the vet (that was funny).
Our female Dobe is still warming up to him. She had to put him in his place a couple of times. She drooled for 2 days but
I think she is slowly warming up to him. A couple of accidents but for the most part we have been able to get him out
when necessary. I have spent the past two nights sleeping on the tiled, kitchen floor due to his whining and barking
at night when we put him in his cage. I'm sure he will be in bed with all of us sooner or later. He is such a loving
dog, he fits right in with us. Smart too, he seems to reply to his name already and responds to sit, come, and get
your bone. Thank you so much and hope all is well. I'm sending some pics and one of that "crown" that I told you
about but we found that the last dog that had them on chewed the corners off of it. Our vets tech uses spongy
pipe insulation so because it is so light and it does not go into the ear canal and then wraps them with tape.
I'll send a pic of that too. Thanks again for such a great dog! Probably see you again in a couple of years!
We will keep in touch. Chuck, Jacque, Chase Pyrrha, and Deimos.
Just wanted to drop a quick note to let you know Solic is doing well. He had his ears done and the picture is of him after I took the posts off for the first time. Per the vet we have the posts on for 3-4 days then remove them for 1-2 days. I just reported them for the 2nd time. They are looking great! He started puppy kindergarten at Pender last week. He is very happy, hyper and full of energy. In the future we would like to purchase a black & rust female from you. Thanks again :)
Happy Birthday to the "I" litter. Liver brownies all around.
Hi Irina, Yeva is doing great!!
I dont mean to disturb you, but I just had to compliment you on your BEAUTIFUL dogs!!!! I followed your link to your web site and they are magnificant.
He's great. Wonderful temperament and gets along with our dog and two cats. Smart too. Also, gorgeous. I cant wait to show him off!
Just wanted to write a quick note and let you know that we made it home safely. Guinness was a good boy the whole way home and charmed everyone that he met. He even had a Delta gate agent on the floor playing with him!
Our other dog is getting along with him very well. And even the cats are doing much better than we would have hoped. Guinness has a wonderful personality, he is curious about the cats but he isn't aggressive towards them. Their fur comes up and he backs off.
Kim is absolutely in love with Guinness. He seems very intelligent and the two of them are quickly bonding. She is in class right now so I am enjoying some quality time with him right now.
Thanks again for such a wonderful puppy. We will keep you updated with his progress.
Hey Irina! Hope you guys are doing well! Thought I would send you some updated pics of Panzer. Time passes by sooo.. quick, I can't believe he is already 2 years old.
Suzi : )
Here is a couple of Pictures of УRoccoФ who is now 1 year old. He is doing great and currently 90lbs.
Here is Berlin with 8week old Zurich, just 48 hours after Zurich arrived. That little 9lb ball of energy
will go right up to Berlin and steal her treat right out of Berlin's mouth! Of course Berlin just lets him.
I am just such a handsome boy!
Hi Irina, Berlin is doing great and now we are looking for a buddy for her. I attached a recent photo of Berlin. She is a real sweetie! Pat
Hi Irina, Here is Massimo's photo taken yesterday. He so great! Thanks, Scott
Sharing Popsicles :))
Hi Irina, wanted to send you a few pictures of Jasper (Valentinus)!!!! As you can see he has to be
in the middle of everything! Pat
Irina, just a quick Tank update. This dog is the LOVE of my life! He is excelling in his agility classes!
I have a private trainer who also comes every other week, and bought and set up an entire agility course at home in a
fenced in area. I have 2 friends that come and train with me. You wouldn't believe it! He is a rock star!
This is Amy my 9 year old with Oskar (14 months old now). Happy spring!!!!
Here is Tadeo...looking glossy and strong at 7 months. His coat literally gleams in the sunlight. He romps in these fields every single day and loves it. He is really getting good muscle tone and is a great dog...a bit shy of people at times. But very loving with all of us for sure. We are moving to the mountains near our home soon...fenced yard still. Lots of deer and mountains to explore...just a few minutes from the lake. He will love it! He is my hiking buddy and I already feel completely at ease with him by my side.
Take Good Care, Carrie
I received the AKC papers, thank you. She is doing well. (...) I have attached a picture of her. She has quite the
personality and is loved deeply. I hope all is well with you and your family.
Best regards, Virginia
Wanted to send you an updated pic of IV....to refresh your memory my Dad and I picked drive from Connecticut to Virginia to pick her 2 yrs ago. We love her dearly!
This is what guys do best :))
I have her house-broken and have taught her basic commands; she learns very quickly and also plays fetch. She has a wonderful temperament especially with other dogs and strangers, and is very happy. She loves to go trail hiking with me off-leash around Carder Rock. I have also begun to take her out on short runs also off-leash. She is very good about always staying with me (she never tries to run off). She's about 40 lbs now. We love her.
I attached some recent photos of her out hiking with me at Carder Rock. We have a lot of fun! Best, Farah
Hey I'm Heather I bought a pup from u a while back. I just wanted to let u know how well he is doing. I am constantly getting compliments on how beautiful he is. So many say he so beautiful to watch work because he does it with such elegance. He is coming along so well, he's certified in obedience, building searches, and bite work, and just beginning narcotics. He is such a joy and I love him so much. He's a great partner, and family companion. Once he gets some championships I will let u know. But just wanted to thank u and give u an update on him. I will also try to send u some video of his bite work. Thank u again for everything.
I hope all is well. Nov.13th was Eros's 2nd B-day. Here is a new picture of him. Our other doberman Natasha's B-day is Nov.14th. She is 6.
Take Care, Elizabeth
Diesel will be turning 1yr in 2wks. Here he is. He is filling out so nice! He is an awesome dog. His ball drive is worse than my golden's he will leave his steak to go after a ball!
Let me help you clean the car, Dad!!!
Hope you and your family had a happy new year!! We went to Charleston, SC for the new year and I thought I would send you a pic of Panzer. We were there a total of 2 days and I think Panzer received atleast 50 or more compliments on how beautiful he is.
I think I may be done taping...I hope (but every time I think that, he ends up in earposts again)!
I am attaching a couple of pics of him for you. He's very handsome.
Not sure how much he weighs right now. He got up to 105 lbs. in the fall, but I cut back on his food and got him down to 98 lbs. but I think he's bigger than ever now. He doesn't seem fat to me but the vet seems to think he's too heavy. : )
Hi Irina, I had to send another picture of Eros. He loves the holidays because there are even more people around to love on him. Take Care! Elizabeth
Merry Christmas Irina to you and your family! Happy 2012!
Love, the Gerovacs
Aaahh! Those winter days... Who cares! I got the best spot in the house!!
The judge was VERY impressed with Jax, to say the least. If I had a bigger house I would have 3 more just like her. He was a K9 officer with a DOBERMAN partner for several years. He had nothing but good to say about her. (you REALLY should have been there). You should feel good that your dogs are as good if not better than all of the "bred for Schutzhund breeds". I mean the Malinois and the Bouviers. Hans and Lauren are doing very good. Jax is, well Jax is jax.She is a psycho! She likes nothing more than to work and please.(me) Every time I grab her pinch and her leash she is just READY to go. Right now she is sleeping on my loveseat.
What a weekend!
In the critique the judge didnt have much to say that was not good. Suffice to say (as the judge did) she performed FLAWLESSLY! Now it s off to SCH1. Lauren and Hans also got their BH. 2 out of 2 from CANIS MAXIMUS.
I hope you and your family are doing well. I just wanted to give you update on Qara. She's doing very well. I call her Kiska. She has been a blast to have around. She's smart, curious, adventurous, lovable, and almost human at times. She absolutely loves it at the farm. She bounces around in the hay and climbs any and everything she can. I swear must be she part Billy goat! She's doing ok with the cats. She's not aggressive towards them at all, but doesn't realize how big she is. They hide when she starts to squish them with her big ol' paws. The kids I teach riding lessons to absolutely love her. She got a rope toy and a Christmas stocking from one of them last week. Spoiled! We go out on socializing trips a few times a week. I get compliments on her all the time. I've taken her to parades, carnivals, pet stores, hardware stores, hiking trails, tailgating for football games, and to a juvenile detention center.
I've recently been hired to start an animal program at the local juvenile detention center. Once a week, I go and visit the kids with some sort of animal in tow. We are trying to provide a good experience for them, while teaching them in a non-traditional way. Normally, I take a horse up there. I hope to start taking Kiska regularly as well. I've taken her there a few times. She did great. It's a very odd setting with all the clanging metal doors, kids in orange jumpsuits, guards in uniforms, etc. It's mostly GSD and malinois people.
I don't know how else to describe it. It will stand all day long, but if she goes to sleep it flops. After she wakes up, the left ear won't wake up. It stays flopped. I'm still posting. I'm hoping that the "lazy" ear will continue to get stronger.
All in all she's been an excellent addition to my house. I really appreciate you allowing her to come live with me. She's definitely loved! I attached plenty of pictures so you can see what she's been up to. Enjoy!
I got the greatest Christmas gift today!
Hans and I were awarded our BH :) The weather was horrible, freezing and the wind was blowing like crazy...but he worked very well...I am soooo glad. The judge described our heeling as "spirited" haha...and it was, he wanted to work. Unfortunately I didn't get a video, camera problems, but I attached a few photos from recent training.
His retrieves are progressing really well, and we have started training the send out. His tracks are consistent, he is a natural tracker. His protection is getting there, a little further behind everything else. He has been on the sleeve a few times but I would like to see better grips, so were staying slow. He really loves it though, so that is great!
Panzer waiting for a chicken tender
Irina, Just wanted to show you some updated pictures of Diesel (Jaguar). He is such an awesome dog and we just love him, couldn't be happier with him!
Here's a photo of Boomer I took today. He is doing well. Weighs 45 lbs. Started private basic training today - working on 'platz'.
Well today was the LAST practice day!
Jax did awesome. If she does HALF as good Sat. she wont have a problem with her BH. Starting to get excited. Cant wait! We even did some bitework with her and she did GREAT despite the fact she is in season.
Zorro is making great progress in Schutzhund and we plan to make the trial for SchH-1 and BH in the spring next year.
Zorro as Batman at Halloween costume party.
Hello Irina ItТs been a while since I last spoke to you, just giving you an update on Ronin from the K Litter,
heТs been doing very well, I couldnТt have ask for a better dog, on November 5th he participated in the WAE test
in Virginia Beach Va. and passed, IТm still waiting on his Working Aptitude Certificate from DPCA, if you want
you can go to the website and check his test scores. IТm glad I got my dog from your kennel, heТs everything I
expected and more, anyway just thought I drop you a line to keep you informed on his progress, if I purchase another
dog I will defintly get him or her from you. Talk to soon Cleveland
Hi, how are you?
Quick update on AdlerЕЕ.Doing great and wearing costumes brought to him by our good neighborЕ..Adler is a good sport and
a great dog. Other picture is from our camping trip that was ended right after is snowed 9Ф on us this past weekend.
Who needs a bone when you got a pumpkin?!!!!
Hello, Irina and family,
just wanting to let you know the news on our Mina. (...) She is growing so fast and impressively, but you already knew that :0). We have learned that one needs a sense of humor to raise a Dobie and that she is very quick-witted. We are very happy with our choice to find you as a breeder and that we were able to get a puppy from you. She is everything I have read in the Doberman books and I am exited to watch her grow up.
Hope all is well with you and yours.
Raffaela, Henry, Lilly, Valor and Baby-Mina
Just wanted to let you know that Sweet Honey is settled at home with us and adjusting well. We've named her Isabel, and she is getting used to our house and is such a sweet girl. We had her initial vet checkup today. Thanks again for meeting with us this weekend - we just love her.
I have one of your pups from your M litter (orange collar Markiz). I am getting closer on getting his ears standing. He was weighed at the vet a few days ago at 105 lbs. I am attaching a few pics that I took today. He is turning out to be a very handsome boy - starting to fill out now too. We love him! Very spoiled, but that's OK and he goes with us everywhere. He's even going to Panama City Beach with us next month - should be interesting since he's never been to the ocean before. : )
It has been a long time since we corresponded. We have one of your beautiful puppies; which we named Jager. He is my sweet boy and I love him so much. He has a very, very happy and active life. We also got a female standard poodle at the same time and they are the best of buddies. They are both very smart and they run and playЕsometimes this happens all over the house. He is great with people and other animalsЕhe is very friendly but not always so gentle. He minds well and it is funny, if I scold him in front of company he get embarrassed or upset and he won't look at me for a while!! The are both very good and they don't rip up the house and they sleep in our room with us every night. The poodle likes the floor but Jager must be on my feet! He has to be touching me or checking on me all the timeЕI love him with all of my heart. I thought I would send some pictures; some old some new.
Thank you for my wonderful baby!! Vinessa
I made a video of Hans of photos and video clips from this past year to look back on. Thought I would share. Ralph and I do our BH routines together at the club, so you can see him and Jax in the line up and doing their long down during our routine.
Hope you can view it:
Our local schutzhund club hosted a "Canine Good Citizen" certification session today. Panzer achieved his CGC, next is the BH in November.
Suzi : )
Oskar turned 6 months this past thursday (8-11) and today we weighed him: the Teddy Boy is 70lb! We are starting some more formal training classes in september after the kids are back to school and i have more time on my hands. The trainer said she going to have to do push ups to put on some more muscle to handle Oskar!
Hope your summer is going great.
Best of all, Elena
He has finished every meal with moistened kibble, yogurt & cottage
cheese. I can see he is a slower eater but he calmly gets it done. 3
meals a day for now!
He goes potty like a champ the minute we go out. I am so pleased with
his house training:) He has had a couple of accidents but 90% of the
time he gets it right.
The other dogs are being pretty good but they don't like sharing their
chew bones:( They are all working it out with some help from me.
His sweet temperament has us all amazed. He is just a love of a pup.
Thank you so much for sending this puppy to me. I am filled with gratitude.
My husband and I are looking for a dog. The Doberman is our favorite breed. We are of course attracted by their beauty, but their intelligence, the expressiveness in their faces, the loyalty to their owners ( I'm not sure that's the right word we like the fact that they tend to be a little aloof with strangers but completely attentive to their owners) those are the things that swayed us. The wiggle butts and the way the lean on you helped too. We've been watching the rescues and haven't seen a dog that drew us in yet. Last weekend we met one of your dogs shopping with his owner in PetSmart in Southlake, TX. He was gorgeous, and happy, and inquisitive just exactly what we expect a doberman to be. So that's how we ended up on your site.
Oskar is 5 month now. WOW! serious??!! take a look at me now!!!!!!!
I love this picture of Oskar. I just happened to catch the perfect moment when something attracted his attention. Like grandma says: someone down the street sneezed and he is perfectly aware of every little sound.
Hi Irina, Hope you are well,
(...) Hans is doing great. We are actually back in with Schutzhund training, I think I may have found a new love. I may be getting my hopes up, (crossing fingers) but it looks like we may be ready for our BH in November. I met Ralph this past Sunday, owner of Lakomka. I am looking forward to meeting her this weekend, I admired the L litter. It is such a coincidence that the only two dobes in the club are either bred by you or imported by you.
Here are two photos, one of me attempting to stack in Euro style, and one of him in his favorite place (water). Best wishes, Lauren
Wow! The first picture on your blog (the one you love) looks like OzzyТs twin, exept OzТs tail is a little longer. Ozzy is now about 27Фat the shoulder and almost 100 pounds of solid muscle.
I always thought he was very fast when he ran, but he was playing with a female American Doberman and she turned quickly and started to out run him in the other direction. Ozzy turned and started to run, and then kicked it into a gear I have never seen. He was completely extended as he ran and quickly overtook her. I just stood there with my mouth open. He looked like a thoroughbred race horse. It was amazing. His speed was incredible. I would not want to be at the other end of him if he was in attack mode. What a dog.
As always, thanks for a beautiful animal.
Mox is still referred to as Mr. Cuteness & our entire family adores him!! He's doing GREAT and it's never a dull day. He's highly intelligent, fearless, loving, & loyal. He's a majestic Doberman and gives a good name to the breed.
I want to take the time to tell you how grateful I am & what a pleasure it was working with you to bring Mox into our home!!
Thanks for being a loyal Doberman owner & breeder!!!
(...)We try not to spoil him too much but he is so much like our "intelligent child" it is hard not to. He has a stuffed "Turkey" doll that gobbles and when I ask him to find his "turkey" he actually searches the house and vicinity for the doll and only gives it to Bob so he can play with him. He also knows that when he is sick or needs his meds 2x a day he comes and reminds me to give him his meds. I swear this dog is smarter than my brother-in-law!!
And yes, he goes EVERYWHERE WE GO!, R/Me
Hope all is well with you and your family. I meant to send you a note with an update for the past 2 weeks but just got so busy with work, that i completely forgot.
Anyways, Oskar is doing very well, in fact i think he is doing great! He is eating well and growing, growing growing! He is very playful, loves to chase the mop and wrestle with the vac! He is getting very strong too. He loves to play with his dog frisbee. He has a very strong bite, if he bites into one of his toys i can pull, twist and lift him off the ground but he would not unlock his jaws.
This pup is not afraid of ANYTHING. Russ test run his boat engines the other day in the yard and Oskar just sat and looked at them. Now, if you ever heard a boat engine run out of the water you would know how insanely loud it sounds, just like a small aeroplane motor, you can hear it from several miles away. Oskar just sat and looked at it, did not move.
He is also very protective when someone stops by the house or comes to the door.
We had a road construction near our house a couple of weeks ago and the local police were there redirecting traffic. They could not stop admiring the dog. One of the officers said he owns a german shepherd, but he always wanted a doberman so he asked for your information!
Anyways, hope you are all enjoying the summer weather. He are a couple of pictures of the "Teddy Boy".
Best Lena and Russ
Hello, Irina and family,
just a quick update on Mina. We have had her 2nd set of shots on Tuesday and she weighed in at 23 pounds. Unbelievable how fast these little guys are growing. Every one at the Vet's loves her and she is such a little sweetie. I have attached a picture for you. My older girl Lilly has adopted her as her own. She has already raised Valor with me, but again she is coming thru and help me raise another puppy. Lilly is a dominant female and is very quick to show Mina who is in charge at home without hurting her. Valor is her interactive playtoy, but I have to step in sometimes as the two girls are now teaming up against him.
This integration process was a lot smoother and faster than I even had hoped for and I find myself wondering why I never brought home a doberman before. We are in love with this little girl and she an awesome fit to our family.
Thank you for taking such good care in you breeding program! May you go on to have many more awesome dobies in your life. We will continue to watch your site regularly.
Please give our regards to your family. And we will check in with you from time to time.
Raffaela, Henry, Lilly, Valor and little Mina
Greetings Irina -
Attached are a few pictures of Pai Mei, aka Jewel from your Mustang & Katana Ko J-litter. Pai Mei is enjoying a pampered life with her older sister Knuckles. Who knew a Frisbee could be such a great training tool/reward?!?
Even as our sweetheart Pai Mei turns two this Fall her drive and eagerness to learn are still astonishing. Her protective instincts continue to shine brightly. One spring afternoon while playing in the backyard, Knuckles was attacked by a fox. Without hesitation Pai Mei bolted from the side yard to Knuckles' rescue, grabbing the fox and throwing it off Knuckles, then taking a protective stance over her. Pai Mei kept Knuckles corralled under her until the fox hobbled out of sight. It was a jaw-dropping event lasting only a few seconds. The girls were fine. We later recovered the dead fox which thankfully was not rabid.
All Ron & I can say is . . . Wow! We love this girl!
i got the paper you sent me. just thought you might want a few pictures of ujani he is doin well. enjoy the pics
Hello Irina havenТt spoken in awhile, hereТs a few pictures of Ronin doing some bite work training, he normally does a lot better but it was so hot this past weekend he didnТt feel like putting all out, but you can see he loves this bite work stuff, it was about 7 or 8 other Dobermans out there but Ronin performed the best. Ronin has so much talent and he seems to love bite work.
Irina, Here is Massimo at 9 months... He is such a wonderful addition to our family.
Do you remember this houligan? Lol
She is still extremely active. She has a very large yard with an invisible fence. She runs along the fence with passing cars. She's quite popular, a lot of the people beep at her.
But my appreciation has grown for her tremendously in the last few months. My daughters are 8 and 4. Rika never seemed to
be very protective of them but recently has showed that she is definitely concerned for their safety. In the past
few weeks we have let the kids start playing and roaming around the house outside of our yard. Rika never stops watching
them and if she starts barking repeatedly I know to go outside and check things out. She doesn't like when they are nearly
out of site. She has an accurate instinct of when to bark and let me know to come. We had to upgrade her collar because she
started running through the fence on purpose, and the new one is stronger. However, one day the kids were in the street and
a lady was walking a pit bull toward them, when the dog was too close for comfort rika ran straight through the fence
without even yelping but when the dog showed no aggression rika lost interest. She has had zero health problems to date.
She was a wonderful investment and I feel secure when I'm not home that she will do her best to protect my family.
Hi Irina, hope you are well. Here is a new picture of Eros. He is filling out and looking very stout! He and our other dogs have been enjoy the warm weather. Eros's favorite activity besides eating is following me around all day wanting me to pet him. He is such a sweet dog! Take Care, Elizabeth
Mina has had her first Vet check and all is well here!
So far so good!!! Don't have to tell you that puppies are a lot of work and that we have not yet slept a solid night since she's come to live with us. On the other hand there will be a great adult dog waiting for us on the other side of the rainbow. I have forgotten how goofy little puppies can be and she is very different from my Weims - totally different dog with a different drive. Very happy with our choice, we'll see how she will adjust once we are back to work. So glad we picked a dog of yours and we are totally loving this experience again!!!
We will type soon,
Raffaela and pack
Great news Mako won best male puppy 2 shows in a row. I did not expect him to place and to win twice incredible. He also took his first bite this week as well. The trainer worked him for five min by the end of the session he told me to drop the lead as he ran backward . Mako chased him, jumped up and flew through the air and bit hard enough to be held off the ground and swung around. The trainer said how old is this dog?? I am very proud of Mako, next stop BH. Thank you so much for your part in such a great puppy.
I wanted to give you an update with Massimo... He is doing great! He is 8 months old, and weighing approx. 70 lbs. My kids and I took him to DC during the Cherry Blossom, and everyone just loved him.
here is a few pictures of Oskar i took yesterday and today. what a handsome guy!!
his ears are just fine, i felt they have healed to the point i could try posting them. and the kids want to make sure he is comfortable in his new home..!
doesn't he look like he grew since we brought him home a couple of days ago? i already had to adjust his collar to the next size up to make it slightly bigger.
he is a good boy. we love love love him! regards, Elena
OK!!! we are home!
just arrived at 10 pm. Took an hour to get everybody settled in. Oskar was SO SO GOOD IN THE CAR! OMG! i could not believe it. He spent the entire ride on the girls' lap and he was sleeping for most part of the way, just occasionally waking up and looking for a toy or something to chew on. i was really pleasantly surprised how he took such an exhausting 12 hour ride. amazing! and the best part is that he did not have a single bathroom accident in the car! he is sleeping in his crate now, very comfortable. i left him some toys there and a bone, just in case. Russ had to sit by the crate for like 15 min till he settled in, but it did not take him too long. what a nice boy!
Thank you again for such a wonderful puppy! We all love him so so much!
Lena and Russ
Wishing Mishka a Happy 1st birthday.
Here is a picture of the birthday boy with his new rawhide chew bone. We will be starting training in agility and tracking some time in the next 2 months. He is the center of everything thing that happens. And it doesn't seem to matter if we think he should be or not.
Hope you are doing well! Panzer and I were invited to become members of our local Schutzund club today. We attended the club back in November when Panzer was younger and I decided to wait until he was a little older to bring him back to have him assessed to see if he would be right for Schutzhund training. We attended our first training session last Saturday and the trainers are very impressed with him (size, color, drive, eagerness to grab the tug toy, etc). We attended our 2nd session today and worked on obedience and agitation work. He is doing really well with the obedience part (I think I need more training than Panzer does..LOL), especially for his age and the distractions around him. Panzer is now barking during the agitation part of the training and it looks like he is having alot of fun and really getting the hang of it. I plan on taking him to train with the club two times per week. I know we have a long way to go, but I think once we are both trained (me especially), he will excel at this sport.
Suzi : )
Happy St. Paticks day!
(...). I have been the proud owner of two wonderful Dobermans. Most recently we lost our beloved Boxer and sent our son off to college. Point being, our home feels empty, and the sadness is almost overwhelming. (...) However, after looking over the many Doberman sites on line, I bookmarked your site and tagged it as УThis is the oneФ. What a great site! Your perspective, philosophy, and love of the breed reached out to me. I am sure you are quite busy and I donТt want to take up your time. But, I felt compelled to drop you a line to let you know IТll be checking in regularly to keep up on whatТs happening with you and the dogs. I canТt tell you how much I look forward to the day I can give you a call when the time is right.
Best Wishes Dennis (...)
Jax did a schutzhund 1 track sunday. It was only her 4th track. someone else laid it and didnt mark the corners. Jax found them anyway! They say I need to try for an FH. I noticed an FH in her mothers pedigree. Maybe thats why she likes tracking so much. I am going to research FH. I have limited knowledge of it. Her obedience is going GREAT Ralph
Just an update. It seems as though Jax is pretty much a natural tracker. She needs half of the food the other older dogs need(farther apart too) and she is already turning a corner. She is doing awesome! She has been doing her BH excersise without corrections. We have her well into her Sch1 obedience and she is doing great with thw attack work. I am bringing her bite up SLOWLY. She bites full grip. I just wan to get her biting harder SLOWLY.I would rather not have the head shaking. But if thats the way to go with her then thats what we will do. The problem is finding a decoy that can animate the more action the better she likes it. Makes me wish I was 30 years younger and in better shape. We have until November I am not worried . She loves the work! I have absolutely no complaints with her, except the fact she is a PSYCHO! But I love it. I am almost ready for anotherLOL We need some Dobermann pictures on the wall in the clubhouse! Cover up some of the bouvier and malinois photosLOL. I will have more pics this wknd as Courtney is coming out to take them.
Attached video shows Zorro in a session of professional protection training for Schutzhund-I.
The video was taken yesterday where Zorro is 9 1/2 months old.
Sarge will get a SCH 1 this year and I'm already getting him ready for the doberman nationals had a trainer flown in
last weekend from florida told me hes was the best doberman he had ever seen thought i would win the doberman nationals
hands down. I joined a new sch group they are awesome the only compete in big events so im working with them once a week.
This time next year he will be ready for the nationals and its only a few hours from where ii live. He will be well known
after all this. The training group I joined are well known and very very good. The trainer name that said he was the best
doberman he had ever seen is Greg Doud he trrains with Ivan Balabanov very well known google his name that was a big
compliment to me and im passing it on to you as the breeder. thanks
Here are some more pics of Panzer...like to keep you in the loop.
Suzi : )
We just wanted to give you an update on Honor. He turned 2 last week. He is amazing with Donovan, who is 17 month. Donovan brushes Honor's teeth, plays fetch and tries to throw the frisbee. He can walk Honor on a leash by himself as well. Honor is so well behaved and patient with children. He seems to understand them better than we do!
Honor is a therapy dog in the "Paws for Friendship" program. We take him to troubled youth homes. The kids are a bit suprised to see him (and a little wary of the breed), but once he slobbers and hugs them, they play frisbee with him until everyone is exhausted. We want to take the stigma away from Dobies. We think Honor helps with that as well!
We have included a few photos and a video to share with you. Honor and Donovan were pictured on the front page of the local newspaper. Donovan's favorite place to sit is right beside Honor (or under his head)! We also included a little clip of the boys playing fetch. Honor is a beautiful dog and everyone he meets comments on his colors (and we always recommend you) and demeanor!
Thank you again for allowing Honor into our home. We are blessed and cannot imagine our lives without him.
Joe, Misty, Donovan, and Honor
When I went to pick up Panzer yesterday at my vet, he came out and asked "Are you sure this dog is 6 months old?". Panzer weighed in at 82 lbs. 29" at the shoulder at 6.5 months old - my vet said he hasn't seen a Dobermann like Panzer before. His practice does not have many Dobermanns in general, but he is very impressed with Panzer's overall look, character, and size. Panzer is a big boy, but he is very athletic. He is going to finish his 2nd round of obdience training next week and then we are going to start puppy agility just for the fun of it. We are going to meet up with the local shutzhund club trainer in the next couple of weeks to find out if he would be a good canadiate for shutzhund training, if he is not, we will find something that he does like to do (tracking, etc.).
The lil guy...aka Yaggo...is doing great. He took no time at all fitting right in. He is sooo wonderful to work with. He is going to be super fun to do bitework with!
I have some pics to download that I will send you... We're going to make you proud, :)
OMG, it's like Jade has always been here. Titan let her eat out of the same bowl and take his bone away.
She's is a perfect fit into our dobie family. I'll keep you posted and send photos soon. Thanks for trusting her with us.
She's very sweet and seems very happy here. :)Deb
Hope you are well. I talked with the pres of the club hosting the UDC show in April. I will be entering Mako in the puppy
confirmation and a temperament test.
I also took him to meet the man who protection trained Gator my last male dog. There was about 10 K9 officers there
with their dogs working, some even from Canada. Anyway i brought Mako out and He said holy crap that dog is going to be a
bruiser. He said he would start working him in a month or so
Mako is 16 weeks as of Wednesday and weighed 48 lbs.
I just wanted to update you on Freya. She is doing so great and is truly a joy in our lives. We couldn't ask for a sweeter dog, she doesn't have one mean bone in her body :) Thank you again for such a wonderful girl! Thought you might want to see a more recent picture of her :) This is one Preston took of her last summer. She loves the water, but can't swim too well, so I'm going to have to get her a life vest for this coming summer. Hope you are doing well.
Thought I would send you a few new pics of my boy. I started him on a raw diet - he loves.... it! Thanks,
Suzi : )
Irina, We got a good bit of snow a few days ago and thought IТd send you these pics. He loves the snow unlike the rain. He especially likes to try and catch snow balls. Hope all is well.
My dog club has some pretty serious ScH people that are very involved. I get compliments on Kada all the time and inquiries where she came from. You not only get the recognition of wonderful lines, but I also give you a plug for your honesty...I truly enjoy "doing business" with someone I have never met yet I trust:)...From the mouth of the bitework helper "Kada's breeder did good to you with this dog!" Just thought you'd like to know!
I just want to inform you that Zorro now is 8 months and weighs 90 lbs and 28.5" at the shoulders. I have also started Schutzhund training with him since a preliminary test have indicated that he may have the right temperament. Hopefully it stays that way. He is a truly great dog.
We thought you would like to see the latest pictures of Leo "Nardo." He is the sweetest puppy and we are all so very happy to have him in our family. Best regards, Steve and Susanne.
Just a quick update on Adler. He is going great. Everything we could ever ask for in a Doberman. A little crazy at times but aren't we all. We have recently taken up hiking. He absolutely loves it! Hope this email finds you, your family and dogs all well. - Scott
4 1/2 months. Chest is really starting to stick out.
Jax is doing SO well!! She is really doing great on the obedience as far as her BH is concerned. I have been working her for a SCH1 routine as well. Carla and fred want to try to get her titled at the end of April as the age requirements have changed and she can compete at 12 mos. She shows ALOT of drive for all of it but she really enjoys the hurdle and the wall with a REAL liking for the protection. But when she is done I let her go and lick and play with everyone there its good for her as she just loves everybody. have also started her tracking and she does well I just need to slow her down! I wanna get you pics and video so you can post them on the website. That will be done ASAP.
You and yours have a GREAT Holiday and we will talk soon.
Another update. Several weeks ago we had to move our daughter-in-law and her three small children from Ohio to our home. Obviously I was very concerned, since Max is used to living with just the two of us, so I posted on the forums, and got some really good advise on introducing them and adjusting to living together. Everything has gone great, although he is still learning to be careful, not to knock them down. I think it says alot about his breeding, temperament and time spent with you before I purchased him. I think it's been more difficult for my wife and I to adjust than it has been for Max. He really doesn't play with them, but casually observes everything they do, and immediatley will move between them and the door when someone knocks, they get irritated that he won't let them close to the door until he approves of who is coming in, pretty funny to watch, he's like a mother hen. I've attached a picture of Max with the two girls, Ella (on the left) wasn't happy because they were getting ready to have to take a bath. Anyway, hope you had a nice holiday season and that everything is well with you and your family.
Hi Irina, Here is a new pic of Eros out in our yard. I bet it is cold and snowy there. It is nice and sunny here.
Eros has a new habit, he sleeps with his eyes open. You can't tell if he is awake or asleep. It really freaks people out. Too funny!
Happy New Year,
Irina, Hope your family is well. Mako is doing great 32 pounds and 12 weeks tomorrow.
Happy Holidays to you and your family. Here is Eros sitting by the Christmas Tree. We have starting protection training him. He has gotten really muscular! Take Care, Elizabeth
HEY!!! so sorry we never got back to you!! It's turned out to be a really busy week. He's been great, we love love love him!
these are the latest pictures of Loki and the baby moose in the back yard....maybe you might want to post in your web site as the Alaskan Dobie :)
I will pray that you get SNOW!! We are hoping for more snow here :) You should see Loki with his Red Coat and I am going to buy him some Antlers with lights if I can find them here. He will then be Santa Paws :) we start our obedience classes in January and are looking forward to classes.
Hope you guys are doing good! Just wanted to let you know that Panzer and I did our first tracking session last Saturday. Like I had thought, Panzer is a complete natural at tracking - he keeps his nose to the ground and doesn't give up until he finds what we are tracking. We were instructed to practice for the next 4 weeks with various scent pads and short runs, then we will move to level 2.
Sent you some pics that I took a couple of days ago.
Suzi : )
Just a quick update: Max finished his basic obedience class and earned his Canine Good Citizen Award, we will start intermediate class in January. Seems like I can't go anywhere without someone commenting on how beautiful and majestic he is. He has socialized very well and I can take him anywhere and he gets along with other dogs and people, although he has become very protective of strangers coming into the house, and he has to make sure it is ok with us and then he has to check them out and give his approval. He has also become a real lover and enjoys cuddling if I get on the floor with him. I'm glad I've had prior experience with dominate breeds, as I have learned Dobermans require a lot of work and patience. Thanks again for such a beautiful and level temperament dog!
Sorry I haven't written sooner, but we've been very busy. We purchased the 'orange collar' male from your 'M' litter - born 8/2/10. I think you called him Markiz, but we call him Morgan. He's doing great. Weighed 45 lbs. the other day at the vet. He is just finishing up his first obedience class (Tuesday is his last class) and we've already got him enrolled in another obedience class which starts in January.
I believe you had his ears cropped on 9/29/10 and we started posting/taping them on 10/19/10. They are doing well and I absolutely love the long crop! They pretty much stand up straight when I first untape them, but they start to droop a little after about a day so we put them back up again. (I am attaching a couple if pics so you can see his ears - they're a little blurry because I took them with my cell phone).
He was very easy to housebreak. I think it only took him a few days to understand the concept, but it was probably 3 weeks before he was not having any accidents in the house. He is also trained on our underground fence, that only took about 2 days and hardly any training. We didn't want him to learn how to use the dog door just yet (we wanted to control when he went in and out of the house), but he kept watching our boxer use the dog door and he just started using it one day on his own.
He's such a great dog. He travels well in the truck and is with us all day long, every day but his favorite spot is laying in front of the wood stove or fireplace. Sheri
Hey Jax and I just got back from a training session out at dutch east. They agitated her for the first time today and well, she did AWESOME!! again impressing everyone! Keep in mind they are ALL ABOUT bouviers and malinois. She came all four feet off the ground and snatched the puppy sleeve off the decoy and then even chased him a few steps before again taking the sleeve. then she carried it to the car. Not bad for her first time. The decoy AND BOTH the trainers commented on her full mouth bite.I have been working with her on that since bringing her home and my rottie helped also. Stay Warm
He's doing great...he's up to running two miles with me in the morning.. I think when he gets larger he will be able to do 3-4.. He is also very very smart...such a fast learner. Ears were shaped, and are in the process of being posted.. Other than that he's been great.. Thank you so much.
Hello, I hope you are doing well. Mako is doing great. I must say his prey drive is through the roof. When he is pulling on the rag nothing can make him let go. Of course Iet him win to build confidence. He wants to bite every thing. I took him to the vet yesterday for his first shot he weighed in at 16lbs 13oz. at 7weeks he is growing like a weed. Monday we are going to get the ears done and a micro chip. Thanks for putting the pics of Mako on your site i showed the family over Thanksgiving.
Happy Holidays to you and your family! I can't believe it has almost been a year since I arrived at your home and met Hans for the first time. I have learned so much about the breed this year and cannot thank you enough for importing such a great dog, and answering all of my questions as a new dobe owner. As you know, I had started training at a Schutzhund club this past spring. I plan on working with my local obedience/agility club with training and hopefully competing in obedience. I have worked very hard with him on my own, but I will not rush him, I want him to have fun. Ultimately, I want to do this because I feel he is such an exceptional dog, and deserves to have his intelligence shown. Though he lives a full life, goes hiking, walks twice a day rain or shine, goes swimming, sleeps on the furniture, eats better food than I do, and travels with me everywhere, I feel like training is a no brainer!
Oh, I am constantly watching your website for updates, you have had some beautiful imports for sale, and your litters this year look exceptional- love the Zoosfery studs (and your Delux!) you chose for your bitches. I cannot wait to add another doberman to the pack. Of course it will be quite while from now as I have my hands full--and predict I will be fully occupied for a while!
ps: I had to attach a photo...or three ;)
I thought that you might enjoy the pics and an update on Roscoe. I had a computer crash and lost all of my saved email, but I believe that I told you Roscoe is my 5th Dobe. I also think the last time that emailed you, I told you that he is high energy. Well I am pleased to say that he hasn't changed a bit and I wouldn't have it any other way. I am also glad that I didn't have his ears done as they really suit his personality in tact.
He stays between 103 and 105 pounds, very easy going, and still has me well trained.
He is a great dog.
I hope all is well and I wish you the best always.
Hello Irina, I just sent you a note on Facebook, anyway I havenТt spoke to you in awhile, Ronin is doing great, heТs a lot of dog. A couple of weeks ago the DobermanТs club that I am a member of ask me to show Ronin at this dog show in Virginia Beach, I told them I didnТt have a problem as long as somebody else handle him, so one of the members did it and guess what? We won first prize in the puppy class 9 months to 12 months I got a ribbon and everything, anyway thatТs not my thing but I was still proud of him, anyway attach is a couple of pictures of him around 11 months old, they were done with my cell phone hope you like them.
Take care. Cleveland
He is about 35 lbs. Ears are coming along well, they look like show cropped ears.
Sorry I haven't send you an update on him lately but he is doing very well, he keeps getting Slater every day and amazing me at how good a doberman can be. Everyone complements him where ever we go saying that is the most beautiful dobie they have ever seen. His temperment is very good as well, he plays with my friends baby with no problems and he loves all kids of all sizes. Thank you again for this amazing dog.
Jax and I started in the group at dutch east today. That means she was on the field with another dog. We tried her on the long down and did a BH routine.(after only 4 classes now they KNOW I am a trainer. I had not told them) Needless to say she impressed alot of people. She did AWESOME! When we get further along I will be videoing. They were going thru the entry forms for next weeks Schutzhund trial and there is NOT ONE DOBERMAN!! out of 38 dogs.Jax will change that next year.
Well Me and the kids are going out of town for thanksgiving. You and yours have a good holiday will talk to you soon
Thank you for your time regarding the puppies that you have for sale. Your prices are fair and reasonable. I really like the way that you breed and raise dogs. It is healthy, realistic and balanced. Your dogs are beautiful. I really can't state strongly enough how much I admire your breeding practices and how much I am looking forward to owning one of your dogs.
Here are some pictures of Zorro at 6 months of age. His weight is 70 Lbs
and height at the withers is 26 inches. He is the most rambunctious,
smart and fun dog I have ever dealt with. In the dog park he now makes
any other dog of any size to belly up. He is doing great and I am very
pleased with this purchase.
Just wanted to let you know that Panzer and I went to meet the local shutzhund club today. The majority of dogs who attend the club are GSDs, a couple of Rotties, 1 Dobie, and a couple of other working breeds. One of the trainers (he was not there today) is a AKC Dobermann judge - everybody said he would be thrilled to see Panzer. Everyone was very impressed with Panzer's bone struture, color, and calm behavior with everything that was going on around us. We plan to attend every weekend to get him used to the surroundings and the things that are going on around us until he is a little older. Next week we are going to attend a beginning tracking class - I think Panzer will be a complete natural - he has got a nose that never stops!!
Suzi : )
Well here is a little update on my boy. In to everything he can find. If it moves he eats it. If it doesn't he chews on it. He will do anything for a treat. And he is shaping up to be smarter that I am.
Almost got the ears standing - they fall after a few hours. Panzer is doing great with puppy training and is growing like a weed.
suzi : )
Irina, Happy Halloween. Our neighbor brought Adler a costume. We have since apologize profusely to Adler.
Hope you and your family had a good Halloween.
Zorro won his first show (no AKC official) in Fairfax the other day as the best looking dog.
Hello Irina, I just wanted to let you know that we love our new puppy. Thank you for putting so much thought into breeding right - it shows!
It was a pleasure to meet you as well and I hope we will find a way to get together soon!
The pup is doing very well. We love her, she is truly the perfect dog that we were dreaming about. She has so much personality and is very affectionate. In the evenings we just sit around on the couch in her room petting her.
Good to hear from you.
Just a quick update on Max and a couple of pics. We started obedience class three weeks ago, he is doing great and pics new commands up in just a couple of tries. We still go for an hour run on the beach every morning, but stopped going to the dog park, just to many owners that don't control their aggressive dogs. Max is good with other dogs but definitely will defend himself. I have to say of all the dogs I've owned, including the mastiffs, he is the most powerful, I didn't realize Dobermans were that strong. Anyway, we are extremely happy with him, very mellow and a perfect gentleman in the house and car. Hope all is well with you.
I am calling to update you on things about my dog Hafey (Hafei) who is doing great. Today i visited a training facility in Chesapeake Va. named Tiderwater K9 Academy and met the owner Mark Hackathorn. He knows who you are because his best friend Ralph has a 4 month old red female (Jacks/ Jax or however it's spelled) that he got from you. She is special and her training is ahead of schedule. Hafei is being evaluated and is preparing for Schutzhund training at Dutch East. Thanks for listening
Jax is kickin ass! she is already jumping hurdles and climbing walls(low and not steep of course) and she has no problem with gunfire. Eveyone that sees her work is impressed.Oh , last week she stole a puppy tug from a decoy who was taking a break and jumped up on the picnic table with it then ran up to the crates where the malinois and bouviers were resting and tried to get them to play. Pretty funny stuff! But it didnt go over real well with their owners. No sense of humor I guess!
A friend of mine is lending me a recorder to catch her working. I will send you a dvd and some more pics.
Zorro has his 5 month birthday today and weighing 61 Lbs and 24 1/2" high. Already looking like a real fully grown Dobie. His ears are done and I am very pleased how they came out.
Here are some newer pics of Panzer. I will send you some better pics this weekend. We are starting puppy obedience classes on Saturday.
Suzi : )
Hi Irina, Just wanted to send a couple more pictures. Rocco and Athena are now cohabitating wonderfully! He now realizes she is his sister and here to stay rather than a snack. Lol J I took her to our vet the day after we brought her home and on Monday for a few booster vaccines. She has grown 2 lbs in just one week! She is getting growing like a weed! She is crate trained and almost completely potty trained. SheТs doing great.
Hope all is well! Filiz
Hope you are doing well! Just wanted to let you know that Panzer is a wonderful puppy. He is extremely intellegent and loves to play fetch and tug of war. He has learned to sit, shake, and walk on leash. He is doing great with crate training at night and is almost house trained. Sent you a few pics that I took yesterday.
Suzi : )
I forgot to send you a picture of Adler on his b-day Sept. 9th. It has been a great first year and we may have gone overboard with his birthday. He loved the liver brownies we made for him that we found on your website. I also added a picture of him and our watering hose. Boy he loves it! Hope this email finds you, your family and dogs all well.
Btw everyone at dutch east was totally impressed with her! Fred and Carla both said "I like that little girl" and they are died in the wool bouvier and malinois fans hardcore. She is doing GREAT! except this evening she chewed a cork trivet to pieces. Her ear is finally standing. Her left ear was standing at 11 weeks. Did you get the pics? I am not too good at "stacking" a dog but she is gorgeous! There will be more pics.
She eats as much as my rottie and loves her raw chicken necks and raw fish (whole). She starts at Dutch East on Wednesday. I did the obedience myself but they need to check it before we do anything else. Her tracking is started as is her retrieving, she is well on her way. Oh and my daughter will be handling her in the ring. I will help HER with the training. I dont think she likes the idea of her "puppy" being hit with a stick. Let me know if you got those pics.
I wanted to give you an update on Athena. She's adjusting really well! She did yelp quite a bit last night, but then I got Rocco's dog bed and went to sleep next to her, lol! She was calm afterwards. She's eating well. Rocco is still unsure about her, but I knew that would take time. I think they will eventually be good pals.
I've attached some pictures :) As she grows, I will send more.
Thanks again! She is just a doll baby! Filiz
Just a quick update.
Named him Max.
Took two days to crate and house train him. Just have to say "kennel" and he goes to his crate.
Took two days to train him to jump in and out of the back seat of the pickup.
Knows "sit" and "wait". Learning heel but he kind of naturally attenion heels on my left side. Comes on command but every so often he looks at me until he decides he wants to come.
I think he's too smart for his own good, he figures out things really quick and tries to manipulate me, sometimes it's hard keeping one step ahead of him. After reading alot in the forums I almost think he is starting his Doby teens by his behavior. He is very laid back in the house, plays with his toys and sleeps. Gets along fine with our old Maltese, introduced them, sniffed noses and now ignore each other.
We go to the ocean every morning and he gets to run and play while I take an hour walk. He likes the water, hasn't swam, but isn't afraid to get in and play up to his chest. Every afternoon we go to the dog park for an hour, there is a Great Dane and Lab he seems to favor playing with, but gets along will all the dogs. Start a basic obedience class in two weeks.
Hope you enjoy the updates and I'll send pictures as he grows.
12 months already! He loves to swim, and tries to help wash the car, but that usually just ends up being playtime.
Hi, Irina....just wanted to tell you how much we LOVE our boy (Hector......we call Huey). He is 98.6 pounds and is the most beautiful, fun, strong, sweet, boy!!! He is absolutely gorgeous. Your M litter is too cute!!!! Hope Dea is well, she is so pretty. I love your web site and visit it often.. Thanks,
Ginny N. (Florida)
Well, Ozzy is a year old now! Here are some pictures of him on a birthday "cruise" He doesn't like to swim much but loves the boat rides! Thought you might like to see them.
As a side note - we decided to get a new bed since ours was getting old and guess who likes it the mostЕ
Hope all is well. Greg
"Inca" is doing great!!! She had her first vet visit yesterday and he gave her a clean bill of health. She is very energetic just as you would expect a puppy to be.
She has a great appetite and is fitting into the family very nicely. She comes to work with us everyday and all
of the employees just love her. And so do we!!!
Pictures of Zorro at 16 wks and 44lbs. He is doing great, very mischievous and wrestles with every dog he can put his paws on. Tomas
Hi Irina, Here is a new picture of Eros, he is doing great! Hope you are well!
Take Care, Elizabeth
Arabika (Misha) is doing wonderful she will be 9 months old soon, we had her fixed. Thank you again for a wonderful addition to our family.
Take care, Marti B.
She is a very outgoing girl and is doing well on the ScH field. She is doing great with the bite work and i'm working on the attention end on the obedience... She has a wonderful temperament and personality...thx
Hello Irina haven't spoke to you in awhile just thought you want to see
Ronin at almost 9 month, he is a fine dog and he is a hand full but its ok,
hope you are doing well and talk to you again soon.
Irina, Well he is growing like a weed. Already at the 30 lb. mark. And into everything that he sees. We installed an underground fence and he would not cross it after 3 days with it set at the training level of corrections. He has more on the ball than I do.
Here is one pic I took the other day. This is the way he treats us. This is my chair. When he isn't using it.
Hello Irina! ItТs been awhile since I have emailed you about Adler so I thought I would send you an update. He is doing extremely well. We couldnТt ask for anymore in a dog. He listens very well and keeps us busy! He is close to 90lbs now and loves to take up our bed even though I bought him his own bed. We ended up getting a king size bed so we could sleep since we enjoy him so much we couldnТt kick him out! Anyway I hope this email finds you, your family and dogs all well. - Scott
Jax is a tough bird I believe she will be like luke but she is responding well and doing fine. Everyone that meets her is impressed. They all say about the same thing; "Why can't American breeders turn out puppies like that?" I tell them to blame the AKC.
Eros's ears look really good! He looks much more like an adult dog now.
Another Picture for you :) (from a training session)
Honor is doing wonderful, by the way. He loves taking baths with Donovan.
Both are so photogenic!
Joe, Misty, Donovan and Honor J.
Let me tell you a little of our story with Canus Maximus, I was brought up with dogs of many types (my Mother was a breeder from 1961 until a few years before her passing in the mid nineties) so my experience is over many years and also included numerous trips to Crufts and other shows around Britain. We have always had dogs so when we decided to get our fourth Doberman late in 2009 I started my search on the internet to find our perfect new family member. Your website was excellent, I visited many others but what you do met all of our criteria, we wanted a puppy that would fit in with our location, family and numerous grand children that range in ages from six months to twelve years old.
Knowing you had children and that the puppies were in contact with them from an early age was a critical point, knowing the care and consideration you give to the breeding was a critical point, knowing the effort you put into the medical considerations of a healthy dog was also a crucial factor. After contacting you I knew we would be having one of your puppies, if not immediately then we would wait. Fortunately you had a couple of male puppies available and their pictures immediately convinced us of our newest member to the family, few people will ever realize how much work went into helping us with all the medical requirements which were necessary to allow us to import 'MAX' to the Island (so I must thank you again for the time you spent on this).
We now have a stunning eight month old Doberman who has a great temperment, personality, loves playing with us and the kids, follows my wife everywhere and gets on well with our other three dogs, all in all we could not have wished for more. He is going to be big and strong, has no health issues and makes us laugh every single day, his training is going well and our recent house sitters commented on how well he behaves for such a young, lively dog.
Irina, you have everything right, I would highly recommend you to anyone who new about dogs and wanted a special dog for their family.
Good luck to you
I finally got a picture of Eros with our other Doberman. You can see how big he is compared to her.
Take Care, Elizabeth
Brinc training is coming along well - the instructor thinks he has great working potential and is keen to keep training him with a view to 'titling' him. I have video of him 'working' but it is too big to send via email.
Here is Eros relaxing after playing outside in the heat. He is now 80 lbs! He has passed up our female Doberman. She is 68 lbs at 4 years old. Eros is the same height as her but much bigger!
Hi Irina......here's photos of Titan. He's a great pup and gives us lots of joy. We're curious to know if his Dominus, his dad liked to lay on his back and have his belly rubbed. I've never had a dobie like that before. He's so affectionate
and loyal. The last photo shows Titan's muddy nose. He likes to digs holes to hide his balls.
Thought you might like this picture too - more of a close up of his head, he saw the cat sitting in the window :)
Hey! I just thought I'd send photos of Land Rover so that you can see how he's doing. I've called him Halo.
Just a note to tell you Ozzy continues to get bigger and more magnificient. We continue to get compliments on his looks. He still doesn't like the water much, but he is starting to sniff around it more.
He's a real joy and as precious as they come. My wife has fallen head or heels in love with him.
He arrived safe and sound; pretty hungry and thirsty, but otherwise perfect. We're staying at my aunt's right now in the city and he's gotten along marvelously with their three (rather rowdy) dogs; he's extremely well-behaved.
I'm very very happy with him; he's absolutely perfect.
Everything went smoothly last night. I love the puppy, he's very sweet and he is already adjusting so well. He just finished a nap and some breakfast and we're on our way to PetSmart for some things. I posted a couple of pics. Thanks again. I'll keep you updated on him.
Till next time, Vincent
I hope your family and your dogs are doing great. Hans is growing up fast, we visited the schutzhund club (Schutzhund Village) near Charlottesville recently. I really enjoyed it. Armin seems very knowledgeable and well respected, most of the club members come from other states every weekend to train...thankfully, I don't have to go that far. They started some drive building with him, and really seemed to like him and think he has good potential. We will also begin tracking soon. There were two other dobes there from dutch lines, I believe. They were older but much smaller than Hans. Everyone was surprised at how big he was for such a young age.
I take Hans biking, he loves it and is very well behaved...even when he sees a duck. We have many biking/walking trails here so it really helps keep him in shape and well muscled. The most recent photos I have are at 7mo, I also sent them to iz Galakuna to show them what he is looking like. I added one of him playing with some dogs at the farm.
It looks like you have some great pups! It is very exciting to see the updates on new titles for your imports and your own dogs, I hope you have great success this year!
Lauren and Hans
Irina, Good afternoon Irina, was just wanting to update u on Honor, we recently joined a therapy dog group here in Clearwater, FL, Paws for Friendship" and Honor passed his test to be able to go to Retirement homes and Childrens Hospitals. Again we are so Thankful for letting us get him, and every time we go out some where with him we are told repeatedly how BEAUTIFUL he is and how shinny and nice looking his coat his, his markings.
When we recieve his certificate and vest, approx 30 days I will send you a picture. I love the pic of that new German Dobie you are breeding with, very nice looking dog. Have a great day.
Joe, Misty, Donovan and Honor
Loving life at the dog park! We have named him Gage and he is doing very very well!
Hi Irina, Here is a new picture of Eros. We LOVE him. He is such a great dog. He is up to 65 lbs! He is going to be huge! His favorite activities are eating, sleeping, and playing with our other dogs. He is already very protective of us, our house, and our yard. He is very happy in his new home. Thank you for such a wonderful dog!
Dave and Elizabeth
It was very nice meeting you and your family today! We could not be happier with how everything went. I will definitely send you more however I wanted to send you a quick picture to show you how he is doing adjusting to his new environment.
Brendan and Natalie
Hi Irina! How've you been? Kane (Grommit) and I are doing very well. He's such a beautiful, kind, strong boy.
I just looked at the pics of the litter you have now. Beautiful. Just beautiful.
Hello Irina just wanted to share a photo with you on my pup, his name is
Ronin, I just want to show you how much he is grown, can you believe he's only
5 month. Hope you're doing well.
IV is doing great...she loves the nice weather! She is 13 weeks old now.
Adam, Janine and IV
Just wanted to let you know Eros is doing well, getting along with the family. He is a very sweet and loving dog.
Irina had the dog at the vets this day. he weighed 29,5 lbs He is in beautiful condition. Taking Taylor his new name to a breeder to have his ears taped tomorrow. She is very interested in your web site. I told her after searching hundreds of web sites and talking to as many breeders you were honest trustworthy knowledgeable intelligent and furnished us with the best possible doberman. beyond that you answered all of our telephone calls and E mails.
Your friend from Massachusetts
Stanley & Deb
Oh my god what a day we just had.
We ran full speed up the hill - down the hill. We chased kids. Kids chased us.
I open the door and he leaps down the stairs and fly's out into the yard.
We had a great time today.
Went to the vet for a checkup. Everything is looking good so far.
You see in the picture how he is stuck to me like a magnet...
thank you for the most beautiful pup any one could have requested. This morning he was up at six went out ate, slept and then back out . He is so alert and curious, this is a great sign.
Again thanks for our handsome pup.
He landed right on time . He is beautiful and so very sweet. We just love him!!! He is sleeping now. He was very hungry. Thank you for sending the grain and instructions. Thank you
Deb and Stan
So today is Gretel's 1st birthday; hard to believe since she is such a big girl! She and Edgar just crack me up as they wrestle around and rough-house like two small children. If one of them is bored, he or she will go up to the other and give a nip to the leg and start a game of chase! At night Gretel is quite the queen of her "castle" - she sleeps stretched out right next to me with her head laying on my back as if she is watching guard over me all night. These are just the most intelligent, loyal and affectionate pets! Thank you again for your superior breeding. Did I ever mention to you that one of our trainers said that Edgar looks like a "fine piece of Renaissance artwork?" She was just really taken by his beauty.
"IV" (pronounced Ivy) is doing great. She has a lot of energy, loves to play outside, and is eating well. Janine and I adore her. We will be starting obedience training later this month with a trainer who has Dobermans. Hope all is well,
Adam and Janine
Glad you liked the pictures - yes, he does have a lovely head, pity he won't hold his ears up all the time thought which is why I keep taping them.
He's a favourite at the vets - he seems to have continued to charm them where Kaiser left off. Please keep in touch Irina and thanks again for my 'boy' - he may be a real handful but he's loved to pieces !!
Take care and best wishes to you and the family.
Just wanted to let you know "Kada" is doing great. From the day we brought her home, she ran around like she's lived here all her life. What a terrific pup...I can't wait to show her off at my dog club...I am the only dobe loyal person in the club...I bet all those rottie and shepard people will be impressed when they see her...who wouldn't be impressed with a dobe anyway...
not to mention such a wonderful one as her!! I'll let you know how we make out.
I've seen a pup from your breeding program and was impressed not only with the outstanding beauty of the dog but the wonderful temperament she displayed as well. I have fostered and trained many dobermans in the past and am looking forward to owning one.
A quick update for you.......Drago is doing real good on his training. We are on track to go for his BH when he hits 15 months. My Training Director uses me and Drago as a demo when she has new interested people in joining the Schutzhund Club. Everybody that has seen Drago is real impressed with what he is doing for only being 9 months.
Drago is now starting to run around blinds. He has gotten to the point where the long down is no problem. He retrieves awesome. He has been going over the A-frame and jump, obviously low heights at this point. The dog has no fear. Drago has progressed to the puppy sleeve and has done a couple of escape bites. Always deep, full, calm grips. I assume Delux is that way because Drago has been that way since the first bite. Plus he has a hell of a grip.
I will send more photos of training when I get some more.
Greetings Irina -
Our registered "Jewel of Pai Mei" we affectionately call Pai Mei is doing great! She loves her older sister, a Toy Manchester Terrier named Knuckles. They are non-stop playmates! Attached are two pictures of the dynamic duo.
Everyone who meets her instantly loves her. People and vets first meeting Pai Mei usually comment on her temperament and conformation to the standard and then ask for the location of the breeder knowing it wasn't a local one.
Pai Mei is very energetic, powerful and a very quick learner. It's been fun helping & teaching her to focus that power and energy.
Pai Mei also has great protective instincts. Recently we were out on a hike, when she would alert well before people were in sight or heard on the trail. She would stop and position herself between us and what she considered a threat. Nothing like the sight of this 4 month old girl posturing with chest out, hips lowered and ears moving like radar dishes tracking the source. Testing her, we would step slowly to the left or right of her, but she would vigilantly reposition herself between us and the unknown.
She's going to be magnificent! Thank you again for this wonderful girl!! Maria & Ron
Hello Irina, thought you might want to see how much the puppy has grown, his
name is Ronin, these pictures was taken over a friend of mind house,
everybody that see him falls in love with him soon as they see him, let me
know what you think. Talk to you soon.
Forgot to tell you when I sent this picture - Ozzy is 23 inches at the shoulder and 54 pounds at 51/2 months. He also LOVES the snow. Are all dobes like that? We had 30" of snow where we live and he absolutely wouldn't come in out of it. He spent hours plowing paths and diving into drifts burying his body. The smaller dog would then follow him. It was the only way the smaller one could get through it because it was so deep. It was hilarious.
Maya is doing very well, she now in Puppy Day care and love's it.
Thank you again she is a wonderful pet.
Gabe LOVES the snow!!!
hope all is well! just wanted to share a picture of how large Caesar has grown!
when we picked him up from you he was only 4 months.
He is one loving big puppy and acts just like our 4 yr old twins.
thanks again for such a great puppy!-- angela & ricco
Irina, Thought you might like to see how some updated pictures of Adler. He is doing extremely well. He and I have been going to obedience school where the next step is Schutzhund training. He had a blast in the snow today. He is one tired pup. As I type this he is sleeping on the couch as he has been most of the day since playing in the snow. I hope this email finds you, your family and dogs all well.
With Valentine's Day around the corner, I have to share this sweet photo of Edgar and Gretel! So much love between them! They are doing great and having a blast in the snow. I hope you are doing well!
Best regards, Michele
I am very impressed with your website and honesty regarding the process of choosing a breeder. I have had several heartbreaking experiences as a doberman owner over the years due to health issues and breeder carelessness, but the love of the breed and companionship has lead me on a extensive search for my next family member. I have visited many breeder websites and recommendations, but keep coming back to your site. Your dogs are beautiful and exemplify everything I'm looking for in the breed.
Thank you for your time,
Well, here are a couple more pictures of "Ozzy". These are not that great because it was kind of dark in the room. His full name is loosely translated into "divine protector", or "fiery spear of the Gods" (Ignatius Oswald). He is obviously "I" litter and is great dog. He is only 4? months in these pictures and is 46 pounds. A beautiful boy. His training is also coming along well. He is so smart. We get so many compliments on his color and demeanor. You have great stock!
Sorry it has taken so long to send photos. Jager is doing fine. He LOVES to cuddle and IТm not real sure how we are going to manage sitting in a chair together when he grows bigger, I guess we will move to the couch. We have a cuddle time every morning and usually every night before bedtime which is around 9:00pmЕ.he has a full day and likes crawling into his warm little kennel bed.
He just loves our other new Standard Poodle puppy named LiliЕshe tolerates him!! LOL They play and wrestle until they are both tired or until I am and put them in their separate kennels for a while. He loves meeting new people and dogs. All the neighbors have come to meet him and LiliЕ.we have a neighbor almost next door who brings over a young golden retriever and they play together. There is a picture of him meeting a new neighbor friend named Louie (French Bulldog).
We just love Jager and he is spoiled.
He is doing very well. He is so smart too... He opened the back door to my house today and he knows all of the simple commands like sit, stay, shake, down, and come. This puppy is brilliant.
He is doing very well. He weighs about thirty pounds now and he is very sharp. He learned sit, down, stay, and shake in two days.
I have read just about all there is to read on your sight and my goal is to follow in your footsteps as closely as possible. Sincerely and Merry Christmas Lee
The puppy (Siena) was so good on the way home. It took us 71/2 hours with the weather and traffic but she was a trooper. We stopped twice for her because she slept most of the way.
She is spoiled already. Everyone loves her.
She doesn't care for the cold so she runs out and then back in at night when it's real cold. It is amazing how she just follows us all around.
Thank you again.
Sorry we missed you! He had a pretty good night and hopefully he will be house broke in no time. He really was very calm and loving on the way home, he rode in the car well. He took to his new little dog bed and toys quickly, going back there often to play and nap. We will send you pictures has he grows.
Vinessa and Wes
Irina Ц Thanks so much for the pictures. Luke is a great looking Dad. Alder is doing great.
We think he is finally house trained. He picked it up much faster than I remember my other dogs.
He can already sit, stay and come for the most part. It is amazing how fast he can learn.
I will be sure to send you some pictures soon.
Hope you and your family and dogs are all doing well. Thanks, Scott
Irina, Just thought I would share some pictures of Drago. Wednesday we were in Tucson training with an expierenced Helper and Dog trainer from Germany. He lives here now.
Drago is progressing real nice. As you can see on some of the pictures he has a full grip. Not bad for only 5 1/2 months. He is growing so fast. Had to post his ears again because the left one started to fall forward ever so slightly. Better safe that sorry!
Hi Irina, I just wanted to say thank you again for this beautiful friend and to give you a update on him. On the ride back he wad perfect, just layed there and slept the whole way. Last night he slept with me nd didn't even make a peep. I washed his ears today with anti bacterial soap and rubbed them down with neosporin and I finally picked a name for him, beretta. He is also getting along with my dogs very well, except for smacking my little dog with his huge paws. I am very happy with my puppy and thank you again
Ira, Hello! how have you been? It has been some time since I last emailed you pics of Honor and thought I would send some updated ones. As you know he is 8 1/2 months and last time we weighed him he was approx 70 lbs. We both are xtremely pleased with him. As far as his training, he GREAT at the house on both hand a voice commands, basic. When we go out to the parks and beaches getting better. Since the birth of our Child, Donovan he has been more than one can ask of, not only with our child but with all of our visitors children too. He loves running after a ball and would do it til he dropped dead. Around other dogs he is great not agressive at all, even if there are balls or other toys around. Would even say he is a lil passive when another dog comes to get the ball he was playing with. It is funny he will chase one dog, if the dog is running and then if another dog goes off running he will go run after him. he does this with any dog that is running.
Also everytime we take him out, which is just about everywhere, we always get compliments on him. How good he looks, how weel is coat looks, how well behaved he is, he is the best Doberman ppl have seen. Could go on and on and on with the compliments.Thankx again for allowing us to get him from you. Hope u like the pics.
Joe, Misty, Donovan and Honor
Had to send you this photo of the babies! As you can see, they are best friends. Truly, they are so happy to have each other. Bringing in Gretel was one of the best decisions I've ever made; she really completes the family!
Many thanks to you for these loving and beautiful dogs! Michele
I just received Raven's papers. Thank you for sending them! I attached some
pictures so you can see her now. She is getting HUGE!! I get compliments all
the time on how gorgeous and sweet she is. Haha I don't think people
associate a doberman with being so sweet and cuddly. She is an amazing dog!
It just shows what a great breeding program you have, their temperament is
awsome! I don't think I could love her any more! If I want another dobie in
the future I will definitely use you again. I will keep you updated with
pics in the future.
Thanks again, Kacy.
Here's some photos of Titan. He's a very sweet puppy and gets along well with Zoe and the cats.
A note of thanks for welcoming us to your home to pick up the newest member of our family. The children love him and he seems as happy as can be.
HI Irina.......we love our puppy. He is very smart and had added much joy in our home. We've changed his name a couple of times but may have decided on Titan. He drove extremely well in the car on the way home.
Hope our trip to Russia went well.
Just wanted to let you know how well everything went with Gretel last night. She did not like the crate, but I put her in bed with me and she snuggled right up and gave me kisses all night! I am 100% in love with her! I think Edgar is also; although he has been neutered he's been looking for some romance! Ha! He is curious and playful with her, so we are pleased. Best of luck with your move,
I am Romeo Fodulu, owner of Casa del Tuono kennel in Bucharest Romania. First of all congratulations for such a good combination.
I just wanted to share a few photos of Drago and a youtube video of him starting his training. He is such a great addition to our family and we love him so much. I want to thank you for such a wonderful Puppy~He's so smart and lovable. If you would like I will periodically send you updates. Thank You again and take care.
My step son got his puppy yesterday. We saw her today, and what a knock out she is! So confident, nothing fazes her, great structure and we are thrilled for him. I was so happy in how wonderful the little girl was!
He took my advice in finding a great breeder- and the proof is in the pudding. Thank you so much.
How things going? Drago went to his first Schutzund training today. He did amazing! All the club members were impressed. He has excellent prey drive. He is going to be an incredible dog. If he accomplishes half of what his dad has I will be happy.
Here is a picture a took of Han last week. He loves posing for pictures. I need to enter him to be a model dog
We went and saw the vet today. The vet said Drago was a beautiful boy and healthy. The vet did a good examination, I was happy with it. Drago has a great personality and loves my boys. He is going to be a great dog. The vet commented on how big he is going to be. My wife, Shelly, has a picture of Delux on her cell phone. When she showed the vet Delux's picture she was impressed with the thickness of Delux. My wife has taken some pictures of Drago over the past day and a half. We will email you some in the next day or two.
Thanks again, Ron
We picked Drago up from the airport with no problems. He immediately came to the front of his crate when he saw my wife and I. Once we opened the crate he gave my wife all kinds of love. He is such a wonderful, adorable boy. So far he has gone potty outside only! Hopefully that will continue.
I just wanted to let you know we got him and everything is great.
Irina - Just wanted to touch base and let you know Kash (formerly Demian) is doing fabulous! He is just over 9 months old now and HUGE. His energy never runs out! He loves having lots of room to run, loves going to daycare during the day and loves my other two dogs. I am so happy to have him in our lives.
Here r 2 pics of Honor from the beach this past weekend. He loves swimming and going after his stick.
I can not tell you how great of a dog he is, we are researching on the specifics on getting him Good Citizen qualified. Working our way up to that therapy certification at 12-14 months.
What a beautiful boy!!!! He is super studly!
I hope everything is going well, everything is going great here. We all love Putin, he is an absolute joy. He is very well mannered for a puppy, although he has taken a special interest in shoes, mine in particular. He managed to find a pair that I had lost, so I can't complain. He currently weighs 76lbs, and is 29inches tall. He loves to play with our other doberman, but she seems to hate him. She is very hostile, but he doesn't mind, he just goes about his business. It's nice that he is so laid back. Sincerely,
Hey. Hope you are doing well. Just giving you an update on Raven. She turns 5 months tomorrow, and she
is huge! She weighs about 50 lbs now, and she just gets more and more pretty every day. And she is so
incredibly smart, it amazes me sometimes. She knows the name of all her toys, and will go and get the
toy you ask her to. ItТs really cute! I will take some more pictures and send them to you shortly.
New pictures of my handsome boy Enjoy!
I thought you may like to have a picture of Remy. She is so sweet and we love her so much!! Her ears are doing great.
Thanks for such a smart baby. Robyn
This dog is amazing. So smart, and he is absolutely beautiful. You were right, I think he does look like his father. VERY strong, but good natured. Sincerely, Ginny
"Dallas" which we re-named "Gretta," is doing well, she is
an absolute sweetheart. I've left her home unsupervised on several occasions
(once for 4 hours) she has not destroyed or touched anything not directly given
to her; she waits patiently on my bed with her front legs crossed. I have yet to
hear her bark she does not beg or jump at all. I took her on a 2 mile jog this
morning she picked on running a leash within minutes, she's an exceptional
pet; when you said her previous owner didn't deserve her you were absolutely
right. Thanks to both you and your husband for all the help, you really know your
breed of dog, I'm amazed with your knowledge.
Have a good one. Jackie
Here is a picture I took of Raven today. Isn't she beautiful?! Delux did an
amazing job with this little girl! Kacy
I just wanted you to know that I love this baby so much!!! She is one of the smartest puppies I have ever seen. She is my heart. She sleeps with the kids and has only had one accident in the house since I got her. Thank you so much for such a wonderful Puppy. She is 100 % perfect!!! She already knows so much. I worked with her for less than 10 minutes on sit and she now does it every time I ask her to. She will do very good in the OB ring.
Thank you again. If you ever need a reference just let me know. Robyn, Mississippi
Hi, we have a new trainer for our Dobie Annie(Hasana Heba). She is the smartest most fearless puppy we have ever seen. She misses nothing and seems to have two speeds sleep and full blast. My wife and I can not even remember what life was like without her.Thank you again for bringing the most wonderful girl in the world into ourhearts and home. Larry G.
I want you to know that I absolutely love this dog. He is very beautiful and very smart. I love him so much. I have hired a trainer to help me.
He's growing so fast!!
Hey irina! sorry these pics took so long! He is super handsome isnt he? Enjoy! Kiera
Hello, Irina, I hope you and your family are doing well. We thought that you may enjoy a couple of photos of Edgar. He is growing up so nicely and we are enjoying him tremendously. He loves to play fetch, chew on his bones and nap on his soft beds.
Thank you again for such a wonderful addition to our family, Michele S.
Hey Irina! She is doing amazing!! So incredibly smart, and she is one of the
most stubborn things I have ever seen. But I love her sooo much! She has to be
the sweetest puppy I have ever seen! She is growing like a weed, probably puts
on about 5 lbs a week. She is huge too, only a little over 3 months and is
getting close to 40 lbs. I will download the pics from my camera and send u some
ASAP. You won't believe how gorgeous she is getting. I could not have
imagined how happy I would be with her! She's amazing. Thank you so much
again for my little baby. I will get on here this weekend and send you some
He's doing great today. I'm sure he was just completely out of sorts from the trip. He sure is a feisty little boy! He's outside with Jeff and Cynder right now looking for birds. He's also told me every time he needs to go "outside," so that's been fantastic.
I attached the announcement I just sent to my friends and family. He's so adorable C.
We got Zorra (she was Gloria in your litter) from you close to a year ago. Wow has time flown by!
I just wanted to send you an email and tell you how much we adore her. She is truly the neatest dog we
have ever had. She captivated our hearts from the day we picked her up at the airport. Our only regret
is not buying TWO. But....we needed to be sure the doberman breed was the right breed for us, and she
has proven that to be true. You will definitely hear from us again when we decide the time is right to
purchase another dobie.
Thank you so much for raising gorgeous dogs!!! Laura B.
Here's the latest pictures of Canis Maximus Georgeous Turbo! He's now 6 months old and still
full of energy!! He loves to be outside...rain or shine!! Thank you again for a wonderful puppy!!
Hey there! He is doing great! He's getting sooo big very quickly! Everywhere we go people stop us and comment on how handsome he is. He is very smart and knows sit, stay, down, come, off, wait, leave it, and many more. He has found his bark and thinks he is big and tough! He now weighs almost 25 lbs at 13 weeks! His ears are starting to stand on their own but will probably need to stay taped another two weeks. My older dog is extremely protective of Apollo and they are very very close. they never go anywhere if they arent together. Apollo loves the park but his favorite place is at my parents bc he really enjoys playing with their dogs. and he also really likes to terrorize the cat just for fun! haha Pics to come shortly. Thank you so much for our baby boy! He is everything and much more than we could have asked for. he's perfect.
Hope you and your family are well. If you would like we would be more than happy to bring him to see you again sometime! we would like to stay in touch with you as much as we can bc we would eventually like to get another doberman and your the only one we will ever go through for a pup! Kiera
He is such a sweetie pie Е He really loves running all over the lot .. we had a bunch of trees taken out
on the back side of the house - so now he has that entire space to run and get his energy out Е
You can tell he is growing up .. I was outside with him almost all day yesterday doing yard work and
everywhere I went he helped: he is such a baby Е He loves when you have your hands all over him - just
rubbing him Е It's so funny too .. because he puts his head in your crouch like Jugin use to do Е
and will stand there as long as you rub him Е
Here is Roscoe at going on 15 months. He is a great dog and great pal. You all did good!
Regards, Bill E.
It was a pleasure to meet, your family and the dogs, today. The transaction
was quick and no nonsense, thank you. The trip home was uneventful. This is one heck of a well socialized and smart
dog. Please extend my thanks and admiration to Mr Rozenberg for his work with
these dogs. Zack, our giant, and Sam are just fine together. We will update you as time
goes by. It took but 5 minutes for Sam to find the toybox and select his favorite bone. Best regards, - Mark and Freddi Mazer
Finally finished with the ears!!! What a little man! Hector(Huey) 18 weeks and 41 lbs!
We took Hugo to the vet today, he weighs 41.5 lbs. Everyone who sees him say what a beautiful dog he is!
Hey Irena, thought I would send you a pic of Freya with some friends at the park.
We took Freya into to vet for some regular check ups and she weighs 51 lbs.! She is only 5 months old. She is gonna be a big lady! We love her and can't get enough of her.
Windy took the post out of Honey's ears today so I could get a few pictures. Here are a few of them.
Hope things are well with you and your family.
- Brent Todd

Hasana - or Annie as she's now called - is doing very well! She had her first training class yesterday and
did as well, if not better, than the other dogs who had been to prior classes. She's growing like a weed,
straight and strong with - I am certain - the world's largest feet! As we expected from her parentage, she
has a very strong personality but we correctly assumed that with exercise and challenge, she is a calm and
happy puppy. I have joked that she has more energy than any living being should be allowed! She is an
absolute joy to have in our family. She's already showing a desire to "protect her turf" and for a puppy,
has a VERY big-dog bark! It's really cute. Her worst tendency is to attack anything that resembles a tissue
or paper towel. It's very hard not to laugh at her when she is terrorizing a roll of paper towels, but we do
our best. I hope to have updated pictures to send you by next weekend - I need my husband's help because each
time she sees the camera, Annie just runs up to check it out, so I need an extra pair of hands! We absolutely
adore her - she is our baby girl - and we will do our best to send you pictures/updates from time to time.
Don't ever hesitate to ask for an update! Thanks very much for giving us our baby, - Lauren (and Larry) G.
Berkeley Springs, WV
Thought you would like to see his progress. We have 15 acres and a few horses
- Rogue seems to like running our home. lol
First off let me say that you have the most beautiful Dobermans I have ever
seen. I've been looking for one for a while now and I was wondering what
are the requirements to purchase a puppy from you? I own a minipin and thought
it would be nice for him to have a bigger friend. I don't plan on putting
it in a show or anything, just a good addition to our family. Thanks, - Percy
WE LOVE THEM. Rogue is beautiful and Stasha is also beautiful. She just wants to love on you all the time. Still woking on her ears but Rogues was EASY!! Thanks so much for the GREAT family members! Curwood
ps sending you a pic of them.
Je suis Antonio, d'Espagne, et un grand aimant des dobs! je viens de voir de Delus sur Dobermannreview et
je voudrais te feliciter par le beau et costeaud chien que tu as, comme je l'aimerais avoir!! Je veux te

Mes felicitations, - Antonio
Irina! I am sorry it has taken so long to send pics. I left my camera in Chicago
over Christmas and didn't get it back until late February!!!! Gabriel is so
much more than I could have ever expected. He is doing very well in obedience and will begin
Schutzhund training soon! And BOY is he a whopper!!!!! He's over 70 lbs
already!!!! I want to thank you again for such an amazing pup. I've been raising
Dobermans for close to 30 years and I can honestly say I have NEVER seen
anything like him before. If you should ever breed DeLux and Katana again,
please let me know. I may not be ready for another pup, but I know some who will be. Best Regards, - P.
Just wanted to let you know how Hugo is doing. He is an absolute joy!
He has a great personality and is really smart. He is 13 weeks in these
pictures and as you can see is happy with our other doberman.
Thank you again for a great dog. - Randy & Linda
Good Morning, Irina,
We wanted to let you know how well Edgar is doing in his new home; he is simply amazing and we love him to
pieces!!! He did a fantastic job on the ride back to Baltimore and shortly after we arrived he collected
the toys we had purchased for him and, one by one, took them over to his bed and dropped them there.
We all stayed up late that night welcoming him and then when it was bedtime he curled right up on his bed and
slept until we turned the light on in the morning! Amazing! He went to the vet for his check-up on
Thursday and he looked great. He will be micro-chipped one week from today and we will neuter him around
10-12 months. On Thursday while we were sleeping he actually went to the door at 1:30 am and barked to go
out and once he was out he went to the bathroom! The fact that he knew to go to the door and bark to go
out only about 24 hours after his arrival is unbelievable, we wouldn't have expected that for weeks.
Everyone at my office loves him, too - he is quite the super-star everywhere he goes. The children have
already had friends over to meet him and he gave out kisses to everyone. We will send off some pictures
very soon. Thank you so very much for such a wonderful dog!!! With kind regards, - Michele S.
Sasha is very defiant and so darn smart.
U need to be on your toes all the time with her.
She doesn't' even respect her current trainer! LOL! - L
Hey Irina! Just wanted to let you know that Apollo has been to the vet today and he is well!
Everyone at the vets office was amazed at how handsome he is! Everyone that saw him was in awe of him!
Thank you again for everything! talk to you soon! - Kiera
He's adorable in every way!!!
She's doing very well, she gets along fine with my children, I have a 5 year
old and 1 year old daughter. We kept the name you had given her. We are working
on house training her. She is very alert which is what I wanted. I will send u a pic when I
get a chance. - Kody
He is great! We tore out our carpet
and tiled our living room so that we don't have to worry about accidents! And Edan is doing great! I'll attach
a photo my dad took of him! He's funny we have a laundry basket in the house with his toys and he'll go and get
stuff out of it and bring it to us! Too cute! - Kathryn
Raven did amazing on the long ride home. She lets me know every time she has to go to the bathroom.
I m just amazed at how smart she is already. Also, she is absolutely gorgeous!! Everyone that sees her can
t believe how pretty she is. It just shows what a great stud Delux is! He made some really beautiful babies!!
Thank you so much for helping me to get her. I m already so in love, she s too sweet! I ll keep you updated on
her with pictures in the future. - Kacy
Just thought you'd like to know the puppy arrived safe and sound and is adjusting beautifully to his new surroundings. We named him Conner and everyone in the family is already in love. Thanks for everything. I'll stay in touch with pictures.
Best regards, - Susanne and Steve
Here are a couple of pictures of Gladiator aka Ivan. He's turning out to be a great addition to our family.
He's got a lot of personality, he's always wants to be in the middle of all the action. You'll notice from his
pictures that his ears are not cropped, he's going to look just like his father!
Thanks again for everything, Terah, Abigail and Ivan
Hey Irena here are some pictures of Freya.
Thanks again for everything! She is an amazing dog!
Just wanted to say hi and send an updated photo of Gracie. Thanks, - Rene

Here's the latest picture of
Gorgeous Turbo. He's now almost 5 months old and weighs 55 pounds!!
He's massive!! Everyone he meets loves him. He was meant to be part of our family!!!
Just wanted to touch base about Kash (formerly Damian). He is doing fabulous! I love him like crazy and we have a great bond already. He started puppy daycare Monday and seems to like being around the other puppies all day while I'm at work. He's exhausted when we get home. My two labs have adjusted well to him. My younger one plays great with Kash. The older guy just doesn't really pay him much mind. Kash loves my 16 year old son too! He is getting neutered tomorrow and having his dewclaws removed, he got his check up and rabies shot Saturday. He seems very happy and content with us!
Thanks for such a great puppy. I will send you photos and keep you posted as he gets older! I look forward to many many years with Kash as a part of our family.
- Lori Medley
